Round 26 Broncos vs Storm - Pre Game Discussion

If only positional changes had have been made earlier we would not be in this position. How and why he persevered with Hoffman at 5/8 is bewildering and if he had have made the changes we would have been top 4 and he'd still have a job. 6 games we lost by less than 8 points and that Cronulla game is still biting us.
If we can cope with the early barrage from Melb we can win, the Roosters proved last week that if you can hold them out they will get frustrated and then they become beatable. I think Melb have got more to loose than us and it will be interesting to see how they cope with sudden death, they certainly aren't accustomed to that. I't'll be a good game either way. Fingers crossed.

With Barba warming to his new position and Hodges at fullback they'll need to do more than just keep hunt quiet tonight.

We are finally dangerous all over the park. We need Macca, Barba and Hodges kicking tonight to take pressure off Hunt. My only real fear is how our back 3 will handle Melbournes kicking game. If they have quick feet and good hands tonight we are a chance.

Well I'm apprehensive but am in no doubt. Brisbane Broncos will absolutely turn up tonight, they will be on their game and if Kennedy gets a chance, he will put in an outstanding performance with Corey Oates just behind. Hopefully that dumbass Griffin will use all his bench with every bench player getting twenty minutes....

You know what ... I for one really hope the Storm bring their best tonight, because if they do and we beat them, we know we deserve a finals place, and we also know that we won't just be there making up numbers

I like the decision to move Parker to lock for this, shows Griffin has been putting a lot of thought into how he is approaching the game with the absence of Thaiday.

Exactly, and with Parker back at lock, this game could be VERY interesting in the long term.

If we perform straight away we are a chance of winning. If we slack off from the start they will tear us apart. As simple as that.

Yep, now all he needs to do is NOT bring Lowrie on in the last 10 minutes like a retard.

Exactly why Griffin was fired.

If it takes you 20 weeks to not know Hoffman isn't a 5/8th then you shouldn't be a NRL coach.

I have a feeling we are going to get slaughtered. Melbourne coming off a loss, at home, and playing for a spot in the Finals.

I just hope it doesn't get too ugly
