I love what piakura has become but he needs to cool his jets. If he came out and did shit like that in finals we could be a player down and give away multiple penalties, far more risk then reward so could be a blessing in disguise.

The worry will be if we lose another edge player (putting carrigan to an edge which improves our edge defence but worsens our attack from the middle), or if we lose 2 more forwards, then we'd be dipping into some poor depth (logan bayliss, rookie te kura) for the last bench spot.

Swap Jensen for Taupau.

If we play them again the first thing I’m saying to the ref if I’m Reyno is the storm players are tangling their legs around our guys every tackle to slow the play down if you don’t do something to stop them we will. It’s deadset cheating in the open. Never saw so many tackles where the opposition just happened to get their leg ‘trapped’ around our guys. It was so frustrating to watch them get away with it all night.

Easy to look good playing off the back of Haas and Carrigan. They're on budget contracts because that's what they're worth. Haas/Carrigan carry this pack so hard it's not funny, take them out and we get dominated in the middle like tonight, even against Melbourne's B grade.

Yeah, we just expect better now, and it's easy to forget that that was a B-team. I think if we played the A-Team vs their As we would have won this week.
