How many teams named the Broncos have beaten teams named the Storm lately?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the Storm/Broncos curse after this match.

So we haven’t beaten Melbourne full stop since 2016 I think.

2016 (until this year) was probably the last year we could claim to have been a good team. Melbourne during that same period have won 4 minor premierships, 2 premierships and have lost 2 grand finals. Is it that much of an anomaly to suggest we wouldn’t beat them in this time?

Going back to 2009 at Suncorp, similar vibes. They played through the period mentioned above as well as having some of the best QLDers of all time playing for them while also benefiting from the aftermath of the cap cheating.

We are due as **** and will smash them the next time we meet with a full squad who have shown we are primed.

But seriously 43k fans to a Thursday game with over 20 regular NRL players out, is impressive

Don't think any of these guys were playing like they wanted to be there.

X Man had 7 runs for 73m and 14 tackles with no misses before he went off. If he can actually get a run with no injuries, he is going to destroy teams in the future.

Im not worried if we verse Melbourne next week… in fact I think it could be good. They looked very very beatable.

We were on top for most of that game, and as someone mentioned the three hooker thing (and Willison going off) were our undoing.

They also had pretty much everything go in their favour. Our big dogs are more dangerous than their big dogs.

Alot of those tickets probably purchased early. Know a few that went because they thought it was going to be the big dogs. Atleast was entertaining
