OK Mrs Walsh .
Apologies for expecting too much . LOL .
Whats with the Mrs Walsh thing? I get it, you are trying to be a ****, and succeeding, but it doesn't do your arguments any favors.

I believe Reece receives the media attention he does because of his ability to appeal to a younger generation of NRL fans, not all the reasons you listed like the big pay check or the trouble with the law, as there are plenty of players that are on big incomes and **** up outside the sport that dont receive anywhere near the attention of Walsh.

Blokes like Walsh and Latrell are in the media so often because they are big draws to the game and hugely popular with the younger demographic.
Are you so out of touch you don't realize this?

Anyhow, carry on piling shit on a kid, its a good look. Well done.

Did 2 good things .
Several bad things . Hoping his form changes or that`s a LOT of money parked in Q Cup . And more money will be needed to pay Selwyn full back money .

How many more Barry Crockers before he gets dropped ?
Do you understand how form works? Or do you think every player should be at their best, every game for their entire career? Surely you are not that thick?

He is in a patch of bad form, no one is denying that, not even Reece, but unlike his team mates, and his fans, and followers of the Broncos, you are hell bent on dragging him over the coals and calling for him to be dropped.

When he is on, he is up there with the best in the game at 22 years old.
He is adapting to a new coach, new structures, new players and does all this under intense scrutiny by the media.
But yea, lets drop the most explosive young talent the game has seen in a decade because you dont like he has some errors in his game.
Nevermind the brilliant momentum shifting 40/20 he put on, or the try assists and rock solid defense in the fist half.
Lets go extreme right out of the gate and DROP HIM!

hahahaha.

He's also the biggest drawcard in the NRL, maybe even the history of rugby league. I can't recall teenage girls going all Beatlemania over a league player like they do over him.

That said, he does need to learn to hang onto the football.

Your boy Selwyn has had far more form slumps than Walsh has... What makes you think he would be more consistent at FB?

Our D last night was actually pretty damn awesome. The Cowgirls were a bit of a wet noodle, but had some decent attempts, particularly Dearden close to the line. A lot of teams get caught napping and don't get him under control close and he punishes them for it. We were wise to it all night and it really took one of their tricks out of the game.

We also held out in a very tough period in the first half where we repelled them after several sets camped in our end, some of those sets had six agains meaning they went for several minutes with no real rest. Fitness is definitely improved over last year.
Yeah your spot on. I rewatched it again. I think round 1 set people up for a fantasy bubble burst. Broncos fans are use to seeing the entertainers. I believe we are going to see more games like this. Where our solid defence and fitness wins the day. Raiders unlike the Cows actually look fit right now so that's what carried the day.

This is the NRL and any team on their day can do you in. We dealt with a fairly switched on up tempo cowgirls and won. That's great but for some reason there is a lot of nit picking.

Our defence was excellent and not only that we held the line for a long period in our own half to come down and put points on. I don't think we are doing that in most recent years. Yes there is stuff to work on and that's actually a good thing.

In the end our defence was pretty bloody good.

We conceded a try when Arthars dropped the bomb and another when Deine dropped a pass on his chest that very well could've been him going in for a try.

So we basically only conceded the one legitimate try and I think that came off the back of Reece being penalised for the try saving shoulder charge.

That was our fifth straight set defending our line and I'm pretty sure from the initial kick that was dropped, the Cowboys winger was offside. (i haven't watched the replay, but it happened right in front of where i was sitting at the ground)

Dally M votes: Payne Haas 6, Adam Reynolds 4, Murray Taulagi 1, Pat Carrigan 1.

Just watching the mini at the moment - for anyone calling Walsh a cat, he got through some defence in the first five including a good hit on JT, bringing down a runaway Purdue and another hit on Robson defending the line. Then of course, his 40-20 which got us out of a rut.
Yea no one can complain about his effort. Dude is trying hard. Hopefully all this effort will eventually lead him back to his best.

Cobbos runs from fullback are epic. I wonder if him switching with Reece on kick returns will be a more permanent thing (but is that even sustainable..).

I don't see why it wouldn't be. Obviously both Cobbs and Welsh are at the back on 4th and 5th tackles, so there is no reason they can't swap around regularly.

They are at this time of year I agree. I reckon they just communicate and Reece calls for Cobbo to come across when hes gassed.

Start of the year Cobbo is different to post origin middle of the year cobbo.
