Southwell building nicely.

Ali is letting her run the team and that’s good to see.

I do wonder if Prince needs to make the final to promote one of our young halves. Basically if you shut down Southwell, we don’t really have that threat in the halves with Ali like we did with Broughton.

I guess Ali is good to have there for that leadership, but she just doesn’t pose the threat you would want from your 5/8.

I actually think ali had her best game in a while. Was a threat through the middle, competed defensively, and good pass selection.

She is too slow now, but her pass selection and wits mean she poses enough of a threat to burn crap defence if they relax on her.

I’d say the opposition are usually too focused on shutting down Upton.
