I honestly can't believe some people. We just played fucking amazing and lost by 4 points (2 missed conversions) to the reigning premiers, in a situation that they didn't really give is a chance to get the ball back... And people still have a go.

Great effort to dominate the Roosters for the majority of the game.

A few errors at the wrong time crueled us.. but a fantastic team effort.

Heartbreaking to lose it at the death tonight, but gee that was a good time.

Heading home on the bus so will keep it brief, but saw lots to be happy about tonight. Firstly, looks like Hunt has his mojo back. Second, Hoffy passes the ball twice. For two tries. Me likey!

Thought our edge defence was patchy. And our goal kicking lost the game.

Still, we kept with them for the most part. Take that confidence and fervour into next week and I don't doubt we'll come away victorious,

You can't play with an intention of conceding penalties when ever the other team is on top, that's unethical sportsmanship.

Very happy with how we played, not happy with the outcome..Thought we were by far the better team tonight, have to remember they're the reigning premiers and we were without Hodges, McGuire and Hannant and a new halves pairing.

Good to see Hala rip in a few times, Wallace was a bit forgettable and I still don't see a purpose for Lowrie in our team. Keep Hala and Oates, drop Wallace and Lowrie when McGuire and Hannant come back.

We had 57% possession. Game should have been closed out well before the end.

Because the Chooks are protected species.

Forward passes only get called, when the Broncos do them.

Sure, if we're 17-7 in six months time I might change my tune in that respect but one good performance doesn't put this team on par with the top echelon in the NRL ... sorry to burst your bubble.

Wouldn't say we're elite by any means. Plenty of room for improvement.

Surely the most ardent naysayers would agree we are looking far better than we did going into round one with unproven halves and that backline?

I thought we'd finish somewhere between sixth and tenth, and I'll stand by that. Looking more like the former than the latter to my eye.

No one said we were elite though, most people are just sick of the whinging shit, especially after a game like that.

No one has said we are elite, no one should expect us to be currently. We have a winger that can't pass the fucking playing 6... No one thinks we are elite, it shouldn't even be on the agenda this year
