Please Hook dont change the pack we need some continuity.

Hammer the *****!

If I hear "Voice of Williams" I'm just going to turn off the TV.

As long as someone puts a hit on SBW i'll be happy.

I believe the last time Hodges was out, Griffin slotted Gillett into the centres. That said, he put Thaiday at prop to give Gillett a starting spot. I still think the side will look like this:

1. Norman
2. Hoffman
3. Reed
4. Gillett
5. Maranta
6. Prince
7. Wallace
8. Hannant
9. McCullough
10. Thaiday
11. Glenn
12. Parker
13. Stagg

14. Hunt
15. Lui
16. Dodds
17. Anderson

On a separate note, did anyone think our attack suffered because hunt wasn't playing, if anything I'd say the amount of flat periods in our game was reduced with Wallace at temporary hooker.

Gillett up against Jennings. **** I hope not.

I don't know who I'd feel more confident about Gillett or Kahu.

Bench is pretty average,
Hala gets a run tomorrow but I doubt he will have the match fitness to grab a bench spot. Kahu will be in the centres for Wynnum in that game as well. Its live tomorrow at 2 on channel 9, definitely worth watching with all the Broncos involved.

I don't know who I'd feel more confident about Gillett or Kahu.

There is no real winner but we know Gillett isn't great in the centres. Kahu could surprise us??

Fair point.

It could go either way, I think Kahu (or any depth back we've got) could be a bigger target than Gillett. However, I'd like to see a natural outside back included as it gives us options. (ie. If they do bomb out, Gillett can come into the centres, Stagg backrow and we're back to square one)

How would Stagg go in the centres? Good? Awful?

Don't hate me, if you think it's a terrible idea.

The backline I'd like to see:
1- Norman
2- Kemp/Berryman/
3- Hoffman
4- Kahu
5- Maranta/Kemp/Berryman
6- Wallace
7- Prince

I know it's a risk defensively, but I wouldn't want to weaken the pack, and this would also give us some genuine speed in the backline!

Reed might be a slug but I don't think it'd be a good idea to replace him with Hodges out.

I understand where you're coming from, although I wouldn't think Hoffman would do badly at all.
Although it's probably better to put him in Hodges spot when facing Jennings, and leave Reed and Wallace to defend SBW and SKD...

Jennings in form and getting quality ball is a serious threat. He can beat anyone. I think the focus should be on stopping the ball getting to him rather than trying to defend him.

I hope Glenn has the job of assisting in putting SBW on his arse.

For mine the key to winning this game is keeping their passing game to a minimum with an aggressive straight line defence.

If we wait for them to come to us it will get ugly, seriously so if the defence out wide is as bad as it was against the Dragons. It was like a Swiss cheese out there too many times. Fortunately, we played mice not dragons.

Was really looking forward to heading down to this one, but now I can't. Gutted.

It's alright though, I'll be playing in my cricket grand final instead.
