I watched the game on telly - Kahu didn't look that impressive at all. IMO Kemp had a great game, as did Berryman.

I've seen Hoffman do some good things from the centres at Q Cup level.

Hala was obviously playing for McGuire's bench spot but did some silly things.

Knowing the Broncos we're likely to see Glenn/Gillett/Stagg in the centres.
 
Looks like Gillet will be playing in the centres since he trained there today. A poor move IMO.
 
mmm im ok with gillett in the centres because i dont think theres anyone else who would handle it defensively.. roosters have some attack in their centres. gillets been prone to bad defensive decisions but we havent seen anything stupid this year so good enough for me.

It just goes to show how dreadful our depth is. Now our bench will look very bare as well because I expect Stagg to be in the run on side that leaves a bench of Anderson, Dodds, Lui, Halla or Hunt.
 
hodges an outside chance of playing. which is good news, in that he should sit out this week and be 100% for the storm.
 
Sounds like he still considers Gillett to be some kind of utility. At least we now have back up players in the halves, even if it's Norman.
 
Listened to Hook on 4BC tonight. Sounds like Hunt is back in the squad but not sure if he will play or not.
 
I think we won't see much in terms of player rotation. It isn't Hook's style. Would love Hoffman at Centre and bring up Kemp or another Winger.
 
I thought Kemp was pretty decent in the centers for the dolphins. Very average game from Kahu. Really wanted Hala to kill it but I think he'll need a couple of games in Q cup before he's ready for FG again. Really, really impressed with Slyney's game. Capewell's first half was great also.
 
That said, I don't expect anyone there to be named. I'd guess Anderson and Hunt onto the bench, Gillett to centers.

Hoffman can stay on one wing, he actually goes well on the wing IMO.

Pretty standard interview.

Basic summation:
- Hunt wasn't included because Hook wanted an extra forward. Thought the move was a success especially because we were down to 15 and needed all the grunt we could get.

- Of the Qld Cup players he specifically mentioned Kemp, Kahu, Hala & Slyney.

- Is satisfied with our start to the season. Reckons we've played 3 good halves of footy and as long as we have a little luck with injuries and continue to build we're as good a chance as any.

- Was asked about Dugan. Dismissed it.

agree on kemp. admittedly i havent seen much of him this year but we need the pace on the wing. kemp can find the try line too.

hoffman looks like he's enjoying in the wing. which is good to see. its going well for him
