We've had shit all field position and attacking opportunity. I think we've done bloody well to hang on, all things considered

cant agree we have done tremendous to keep them out . although they have been rusty. but the main reason we have had no possession in there end is because we cannot complete a set, so many soft errors. i very much doubt bennet is thinking we have done bloody well first half. u cannot win footy games against any 1 with the amount of errors we have had. and gift possession we have given them

that does not mean we cannot turn it around second half however ,cut out the errors and get some possession back should be first priority

If the Broncos want to get back into this, they need to adopt the Melbourne mentality of defence first and then use your backs to play up-tempo football. Melbourne have been far too difficult to handle and Brisbane have done very well to keep them to 8. Against most sides, they'd be up by a lot more at the break.

Hunt and Milford, both just average, poor kicking, Hunt gets time to kick and still kicks it straight i N to their open arms, that last kick was over the wingers head but he had acres of room to kick it into the ingoal....Oates needs to get in an help out a bit more

For the first time in my life, i have to question our boys integrity. Are they throwing this game? Some of the things I've seen in tonight's game is deplorable. Hunt can't even find touch, Milford throws the most obvious and lazy forward pass, Hunt passing into Gillett etc. This is such a poor performance. Very very upset right now.

On this forum it seems like whenever a team has had tonnes of possession and didn't score plenty of points, that team should be ashamed. Nothing to do with a great defensive effort busting themselves to a stand still stopping them.

But Melbourne's execution has let them down at times tonight.

I accept we havent had much ball for our Halves to work with, but what they have done is pretty ordinary. Jeff Robson has a more effective kicking game than these 2 tonight.

We're getting wrestled in to the ground, the defence is on our kickers before the ball even gets there.

This game will be decided in the next 15 minutes. If we can hold on until Blair & Sims get back on, we're in for a shot. Our bench forwards might run hard and hit hard, but they're not drilled in the 1%ers like our 8 and 10, Melbourne will make them look like amateurs.
