Top table is trys scored, left to middle to right hand side.

Next table is tries conceded.

Anyone not convinced of Herbies worth to the club - Staggs side is responsible for the most points against, and hardly contributes to our attack.

However, Staggs is reading things in defence better this year. At least from what i can see on TV.

Probably should relook at this after 10 rounds perhaps, too little data after 3 rounds to really make definitive conclusions...

When we had Hodges & Folau (and Lockyer and peak Thaiday) on the right side, the left side was easily scoring the most points. Just because the points are getting scored there does not mean the right side isn't causing a heap of headaches for the defence, drawing them in and therefore creating space for the other side to exploit.

I agree somewhat! KWs closer to the action, knows the 'vibe' and is doubtless a better judge than I. Still I cannot help wonder why go forward is not important especially when our lack of it has been repeatedly mentioned by all and sundry. I'm referring to our bench here. Anyway, I will see what we get from James starting if that eventuates.

Not just metres for James .
Take note - he doesn`t struggle on for post contact metres ah lah Haas . He goes belly down and gets a quick play the ball . Which helps with the next cpl of rucks .

Also, the right side defence for the Dogs looks solid 😂😂

Bit early to draw conclusions yet. Anyone who's been watching games knows Herbie's been outgunning Kotoni in every department so far this season. Oates has also scored twice, but neither time was thanks to his centre. They've both done well individually but their partnership has been non existent. That said, over on the other side, the partnership between Kotoni and Selwyn is a bumbling, fumbling mess.

It's also why most of us would be curious to see what Herbie would look like at the back. But only if Kevvie gives him time to learn the role. He certainly shows some of the assets we need in a fullback and maybe his limitations wouldn't matter so much.

“We’re happy with what we’ve got with TC (Robati) and Keenan (Palasia) on the edges – they’ll do a great job for us.”

Broncos Coach Kevin Walters said: “We’ve bought Brenko in for coverage, with no Capewell or Riki – they could both cover outside back positions – so that’s why Brenko is in and he’ll get his chance at some stage throughout the afternoon.

I wonder if we'll see Oates slot into the backrow? I know Ryan James will likely have a stint there since he covered for Capewell in the back end of the Cowboys game.

I don't know why you mentioned post contact metres. He doesn't even get pre contact metres. For all the go forward he's provided he may as well just drop to the ground when he receives the pass. 107 metres in 107 minutes . Absolutely appalling and surely the worst in the league. Perhaps starting will help.

Thankfully Johnson off an injury so that usually helps. Just gotta control Reecey before he comes home next year.

24-6 Brisbane. Do it.

Johns makes an interesting comment here. He (and Fitler) think Selwyn should go to fullback (we already knew that), but adds the reservation that he doesn't talk. It's a little hard to tell whether he means Tesi or Selwyn, but I'm pretty sure it's Selwyn:

It looks like a problem right across the park to me, and might explain why they all seem to be playing their own games. There's clearly no communication between Staggs and Cobbo, Farnworth and Oates, or Tesi and anyone. Correct me if you think I'm wrong but I haven't detected any.

Perhaps someone who's been to a match this year might weigh in.

Has Johns ever been right about anything ever
