Paix used to be extremely good at scoring from dummy half on the line. I think he’s done it once this year. He’d do it every second q cup game but it’s obviously easier to do in that comp
He was starting to look comfortable at NRL level last year until his injury in the raiders game... I think if he doesn't get injured there then he would've really started giving us something out of dummy half... because it looked like he was really starting to get some confidence at NRL level

He bumped off 3 Tigers like they were nothing. All I want is a 9 who can send him crashing over from 5m out. It's so underutilised.
Exactly... given how dominant our pack is it seems ridiculous that we can't get Haas or Flegler lined up close to the line.

If those two are representing a risk to the defensive line it keeps them in check and stops them rushing up on the backline giving them more space to work with as well.

Even Riki and Capewell... they're both good enough to be doing what Preston did tonight on his second try

He's done it quite a few times in the NRL as well.

Everyone, relax!
I contacted Sheensy and the Tigers today.
Since they are paying a useless potato $1.1M to have 10 years of first grade experience and 0 finals, I made them an offer. Don’t re-sign him for next year, I’ll do it for 550K. Half the money and I promised to lead them to the bottom 4 again. No pressure, nothing to aim for but mediocrity. They loved the idea of saving a few bucks, so look out for me next year 👍🏻

Told myself if we kicked some ass this year I’d buy that horrible home jersey. Will have to make good on that soon I think.
Just bought one for me and my daughter today. Rebel were out of stock a few weeks ago but had plenty at Chermside today.

Unless we come in with a stupid offer, he will go to market with his current management. No way will they let him not test what others will play.
Officially maybe, but in reality he could receive offers on the quiet tomorrow if he wanted to and I’m sure his management did as much last year.

Given our form this year & the roster we have assembled I think we get close enough money wise for him to want to stay. He’s almost on a million now and I don’t think he gets much more than that anywhere else, probably not enough to be worth leaving. Unless it’s about something else, and then who knows…

Except the Roosters, they will somehow find the money he wants and more but of course he'll go there for the 'culture'.

I felt sorry for brodie croft but boy do I feel sorry for Luke Brooks. I can only hope he goes to the superleage and killed it like croft did. The poor tigers need to do bronco style clean out of their roster. Get rid of the blokes that don't want to be there and pay their salary at other clubs. They need a decent halfback and a decent fullback. Their forwards I thought were pretty good today, let down massively by their backs. Kind of like the broncos of 2020 and 2021.

They need to recruit Tyson Gamble, he's like the best guy at getting teams out of a hole.

Their clean out needs to start at the top. It’s telling that LH & Pascoe thought it was a good idea to bring sheens back, let alone allow him to end up coach and anchored to benji who has no experience. Need someone like Richo in there to clean the joint out.

Pascoe getting slammed in the media.

He was at the game and was out on the field pre-game. Why? Who knows. And at half time when the Tigers were down 28-0, he was tucked away in a little corner of the dressing room on his phone while Sheens was talking to the team.

There's a lot of problems at the Tigers and it starts with him.

Maybe Robinson speaking French can make him feel closer to his Swiss heritage, where they consider it one of their official languages

Remember one of the reasons was to be a part of a “winning” team. Well….
I give you your current team at #1.
So, same money, with the best team in the comp and you get to stay home with your family and mates.
Any other questions?
