I thought everyone played well.

A few efforts could have been better at some crucial moments but as a whole it was a committed performance against a near on full strength Storm side.

I fear that injuries are really going to hinder us this year, I think we going to go ok but without our quality on the field its going to be a really difficult mountain to climb.
Yeah we're starting from behind this year.

Hopefully Walsh back next week... his was an impact injury so he might be able to come back as soon as it's good... or maybe when pain is tolerable??

Haas seems like the week after ... Willison likely the week after as well due to the 11-day stand down

Reynolds should be 2-4 weeks away.. I'd lean to the later on that so he can rest his knee and also his hammy now... can't be looking to rush him back... we need him fresh for the back end of the year.

This team has shown enough heart that they're not going to roll over, which is fucking awesome compared to the 2020 and 2021 years... we just need Jock to do a role, kick to corners, get us around the field and give the ball to Ezra and Walsh/Sailor when they want it. We also need to figure out the 17 jersey so we can cover any mid-game injuries and then we can look to cruise through until we get back to full strength.

Oates came on tonight, but wasn't really tested... all his training time at the moment should be at second row... if he can learn to cover that position it answers soooo many questions for us

The chet grubs came into this game from a bye and they came with this? I’m convinced that the grubs will NOT make top 4 anytime soon. They’ll be lucky enough to scrape in to the 8.

We will smoke them up real good again when they come up to Suncorp for R27. Cherry on top for mine will definitely be if that smoking relegates them from top 8.

I know Vossy get a lot of hate on here and sometimes rightfully so, but Te Kura will be listening to his commentary on his try on debut for the rest of his life.

I don’t have a lot of time for any of the refs, they all seem to take a page out of the “Shane Hayne Referee’s Manual” - Blow the whistle and then make some shit up…
However, Klein didn’t do much wrong tonight.

We are good enough and have enough points in us to win the next handful of games without Reyno and the other key outs.

Phins - Home
Raiders - Home
Tigers - Away

By Roosters (H), we hopefully have a few troops back and starting our upward trend.

Does anyone know if Kobe is capable of giving 20-25 mins at dummy half? If so, a bench of Kobe, Oates, Willison and Te Kura would be brutal.

Maybe I’m just channeling his old man.

I don't rate Klein, but he had a pretty good game tonight.
Except for storm walking off the mark to take out our markers and then Harry taking direct advantage off the back of it... he should've been blowing time off every time, but kept letting it play out, because he's weak as fucking piss.

Harry getting a 4th tackle six again on a surrender tackle that then led to a try... horrendous officiating

He was garbage and just reacting to whatever the storm were officiating... via their hands being spread eagle... he was weak as ****.

We clearly don't practice the short drop outs... it should be fucking routine where the ball is going, who is the one jumping and who are the ones he's going to drop it back to, if he doesn't take the catch himself.

We've got Cobbo at left centre now... he should always be going for it, but Ez, Sailor/Walsh, etc. should all be scrambling for it... they stand around ball watching.

Cows kick to Feldt and he knocks it back where people are scrambling everywhere... we've got no fucking idea when the short kick goes up even though Reyno is putting them on a dime.
I agree. We are shit at getting the ball back off a short drop out so just drill it downfield and only give them 1 or 2 tackles on our line instead of a whole set.

A front row rotation of Haas, Jenson, Willison, and Big Ben is pretty formidable. Not sure if the two young lads can handle the rest of the season but they look really good and next year, our go forward will be ridiculous.
