POST GAME [Round 5, 2026] - Broncos vs Titans

Even though Reynolds is a better kicker, I swear he’s one step away from being put in the glue factory for good for my liking.

When is Walter’s return date- we need an SOS Billy!!

Some nervy moments from Verhoeven which is expected but his physicality looked elite. Being able to win contact is one of the most important signs IMO for a young outside back. He's still lanky because he's so tall but still had leg drive to push through contact. Looks the goods

just looked at the first titans try… looked like Ezra was hip dropped when he lost it(or attempted a pass while being hip dropped). Liked what I saw from Ezra tonight though except that attempt at a grubber kick. If he can work on just getting a passable kicking game he will be good. Either way he is getting back his mojo. I hope the team keeps winning with Arthur being a more conservative fullback option and then Reece can explode when he is back.

I'll put it to nerves, but after his first 2 or 3 carries, he was bent back every time.
Probably tried too hard on not making an error in contaxt versus attacking the defender.
Can't coach his physical attributes so let's hope he can stay injury free

Noticed this also.

Initial contact into first defender is pretty good but he carries himself tall and the 2nd/3rd defenders get under and drive him back.

He's got a great base, just needs to refine his technique in contact. Drill those yardage carries.

I remember (X) Coates was the same initially.

Show me a sore loser and I'll show you a loser.

Not sure if it's been mentioned so apologies if it has.

Reyno was a medial injury (knee), not a groin. He had ice on his right knee. He must have copped a knock.

Edit: Turns out it was Hunt that suffered the medial injury. The person who reported on the injury got the players mixed up. They said it was Reyno, but it was actually Hunt.

Couple of quiet achievers.......

Mariner and his carries. Always pokes his head through, makes good post contact metres and gets a quick play the ball. Got great footwork and speed of the mark. Has come on really nicely. The young winger should watch how Mariner does his job.

We really missed Piakura in the first couple of rounds. That left edge has been so much better in defence since he's come back in. I think he communicates with Ezra well. He's another one that also pokes his head through with good footwork and gets a quick play the ball. Doing his job really well.

Has anyone ever noticed that after the game when you want to watch the press conferences on the NRL website, it's easy to fin our opponents, but when you want to watch ours you usually have to search the 60 minute long live feed capture
