I will predict he will be tonight based on a highly emotional interview which just took place on Fox. Darius had a real steely resolve about him. Andy Raymond asked him a couple of tough questions and you just get the feeling Darry will be out to shut people up tonite.

Could be quite a few people on this forum with egg all over their faces in a couple of hours time.

love it.

That all depends if the 2018 Bryce Cartwright makes an appearance at the back for us tonight or whether it’s the 2015 Boyd who does

Thinking of captaining Oates for this round in SuperCoach.

Am I crazy?

I think I would have preferred Haas from the bench for impact tbh.

Haha glad I’m not the only idiot using their heart instead of their head.

And I hope the club feel the pinch so that they can put pressure on the fucking NRL next season to stop putting us on a fucking Thursday. That’s 4 games out of the first 5 of the season on the least fan friendly time slot of Thursday night which is absolutely diabolical. Our fans got fucked up the ass with shattered glass this season in terms of attending games. I honestly think we get taken for granted and the NRL thinks they can throw us on any time slot and we will still get our 30,000+ crowds.

The way we are playing at the moment though and the constant Thursday’s will show soon enough that our attendance average will plummet. No wonder everyone is getting disillusioned so easily. Not to mention in 3 weeks time in the biggest grudge match of the year in Brisbane vs Souths (Seibold vs Bennett) also will be on a fucking Thursday!!! I though Friday night was the prime time slot that Ch9 wanted to parade their money making Broncos every week?!?

The only way I would accept this is if the government miraculously changed the working weeks to a Monday-Thursday.
I was thinking the other day the Thursday game is purely for the TV stations and not at all for the fans and not really the club (a case could be made that Thursday offers more commercial clout due to national audience, etc.).

I think the home team on Thursday should be compensated by the NRL for the revenue lost from the poorer attendances. Just compare their Thursday attendance with their average attendance and whatever the difference should be paid by the NRL.

Our average crowd outside of Thursdays is probably 35k, but on Thursday I'd say it plummets to 23-27k.

The clubs should be demanding it because it doesn't help their bottom line in terms of attendances and the ridiculous amount of Thursday games we've copped this year could actually turn people away from memberships

I think Haas is fine at lock though, I just think we need his impact from the bench

I think we need impact right from the get go imo , we need to start fast. We have been out gunned at the start in all 3 of our losses

Superb by Bird really. He set that up

Great kick by Issako as well.

This is how inconsistent Lodge is....... I can’t even watch him carrying the ball any more
