Haas was awesome tonight. There were some other positives compared to last week but I can't really think of them right now because I'm so beyond floored at our effort in our last set and our effort in their last set. How badly do you want to throw away a game vs the Wests bloody Tigers at home?

Ofa has been extremely disappointing so far this season. No burst off the mark, leg drive has been poor.

At this rate, I hope we don't re-sign him and let him walk

Problem is, how many more weeks can we keep saying it's only round x. Make no mistake, Seibold is under massive pressure to turn this around. If this team doesn't make the finals, we should be looking for a new coach.

This is seriously uncharted territory, I've never seen a Broncos team lose games like this in my entire time as a fan.

Seibold has pretty much inherited this roster, so there's not a whole lot of blame that can go to him apart from his interchange use, which has been nearly as bad as Bennett's last year, Carrigan should've come on earlier and shouldn't have gone off, I have no idea why Ofahengaue keeps getting second stints, his second stints have cost us 2 games by my calculations, he's that out of shape he is incapable of making tackles in the second half of games, absolutely shocking and deserves to be dropped because of his match fitness.

Also, we need to seriously start considering measuring players intelligence levels before we sign them, I know that might sound harsh, but I think 1-17 we have the stupidest team in the NRL. These guys lack so much situational awareness and collective reasoning in clutch situations that it's almost impressive how many incorrect decisions they make per game. We could have the most talented team in the competition, but without intelligence, we're not going anywhere. Look at our opposition tonight, they're not talented, they're a bog average roster with intelligent game managers, Farah, Brooks, Reynolds, they know what to do and where to put their team to win footy games week after week, everything they do has thought and preparation behind it. Everything our halves do has absolutely no cohesion, training or planing by the looks of it, these guys have taken their "X-Factor" label quite literally and seemingly have no interest in forming or working to a game plan that can reliably win us football games.

All I can say to Seibold is good luck, because this team needs a complete overhaul if we want to win a premiership, or 4-5 years of completely reinstalling the way they play football on a fundamental level.

The thing is, even though Macca is on a poor run, we could easily play to his strengths by just letting him take the sting out of the game and putting Niko on for impact and spark. Instead, we just persist with him for 80. We have to use what we have smarter.

So we would reward Macca for shit form by keeping him in the team, and punish Kodi for actually being the most dangerous of our spine? Like I know it's balance of the team and so on but how does Milf get a free pass in all of this, purely cause of his wage?

Pretty much every rugby league pundit in the country had us top 4 and if not we were top 6. We all expected better. Seibold was meant to be the saviour.

Yeah we're 5 rounds in and he's putting his 'spin' on things. But we have Canberra in Canberra, then the Sharks, then the Rabbitohs away.

There's no way this is an issue of talent, we've seen what they can do against the Cowboys, that's the only time this year Seibold ha got them pumped for a game.

He's clearly a rookie coach who has a lot of learning, it's no surprise Bennett has walked into the Rabbitohs and they've been a really good team from round 1.

I don't recall a single season under Bennett where I thought we had no chance at the business end and while it's too early to call I've got serious, serious concerns about us even making the 8 this year.

Top 4 roster with the worst spine in the comp and a very inexperienced forward pack. Milford has been bad for a long time but everyone blamed Hunt. Boyd has been atrocious for too long now too. Cowboys are bad too so beating them means nothing.

This. That last set Macca was a speed bump in defence, he let them get an extra 40m. He has to go, or at least be subbed.

That last try, MCK had 4 broncos around him and everyone thought the other guy was gonna make the tackle. Think it was milf, Joffa, haas, Kodi??? Was disgraceful, similar to the roosters last try.

These guys don’t try for each other. Something stinks.

Too late to get JD back as coach?

It annoys me how dumb he is. He doesn't need to be gifted or a freak, if he just made some smart decisions the entire team benefits.

Watch Farah in the last 10 and you can just see every single tackle he has a plan in mind and is working the team in that direction to give his halves a good platform. Macca deadset looks like he just runs up to every tackle, flips a coin and passes left or right. Oh and once a game he'll throw a dummy and hope someone is dumb enough to fall for it. He doesn't challenge the markers, I've never once seen him catch markers offside, he doesn't find gaps and put a player through.

No joke, can anyone remember Macca setting up a try? I'm sure he has in 200+ games but I can't remember it.

I actually think the best thing Seibold could do right now is come out and say he is going to develop the young guys and have the backing of the club to do so. It's going to buy him some time and patience. I still think this team is a top 4 side, can't quite work out why we can't do the basics, why we can't defend and complete our sets.

His use of the interchange aside, I'm not in for blaming Seibold just yet. We look like we have decent structures in attack, we just don't have the halves to execute it or a hard running FB to threaten the line.

I would hate to be in his position right now. I think I'd have a mental breakdown when it dawned on me just how long some of these underperformers are signed on for, I mean it's hard enough as a fan.
