Walker is off contract this year. I'd be letting Dearden walk and throwing whatever is needed Walker's way.

I don't think any of it will matter though without a father-like figure guiding figure like a Bennett or Bellamy on board and with the current management, no kid on a trajectory like his is going to leave an excellent system and come to this basket case that won't make any needed changes.

I do give @1910 a hard time but he is right, why would Walker leave that excellent system to come to us? If I were Ben Walker, I'd be telling my kid to steer as far clear of the Broncos as possible as well, even with a prospect of a UK trip.

Yeah his dad or uncles or whoever it was that steered him away from the Broncos did him a massive favor and nothing has changed other than the coach, which didn’t seem to be their major gripe anyway.
