And it took making Fifita the highest paid forward and equal highest paid player in the history of the game to pry him away from us ... it would have been extremely stupid to get close to that offer, not to mention the whinging would be deafening when we couldn't afford to put the quality around him that's required to beat the top teams (rather than just the mid range teams)

I think of all the coaches available Robinson is the only coach that could fix the current mess.
He's young enough to have the longevity to get us out of the mess, his game plan works and he knows the players he needs to get it done and he has the respect and pulling power of the league... Broncos also have the funds to see out whatever vision he may have
Bennett and Bellamy dont have the longevity to see out a resurgence and Kevvie doesn't have the respect of the league to get the recruitment and retention sorted. He also appears to be waning on his gameplan which may detract his playing group. The rest have combinations of those elements missing as well.
I still believe in Kevvie and think he is needed to reunite the player group, but he desperately needs to take control of the situation and trust what he is doing instead of questioning and being reactionary to everything

I think Ponga is behind Brimson now, unless we fit him in somewhere because he is playing so well.
Who do we have in the backline? - that's looked a bit shallow the last few years.

Sorry, 1910 isn't a Broncos fan and would be far more likely to recommend players go to other clubs. He only comes on here to brag about the inside info he gets due to his "role" with the Jets.

I honestly don't know, sometimes I think I do and think I can write a dossier on it but then I go back to not knowing.
I stick to my lane which I think is watching young Broncos and reporting on them. I don't think I am wrong too many times about what I see and hoping they go on and play 200 games for the Broncos.
That's my solution for want of a better word- talking about who could potentially fix the mess in the future.
I kept across the Walsh issue/informed because I wanted him to stay, I have thought since 2018 he could be the Broncos fullback for a long time.
If I didn't care I wouldn't be sitting here watching Cobbo's game from last night or Piakura.
It just wouldn't matter for some people. I could deliver Cobbo to their house with pizza and beer and they'd complain- mind you while they contribute nothing but have shots at other people.
Ironically those same people need the information or they wouldn't know a single Broncos' player- but they are the self proclaimed super fan- that needs the non fan to tell them about the players.
I have had a season ticket for 30 years and go every week too.

Well I do appreciate the write ups and the insight on the younger guys, it’s something I’ve always been interested in but I’m now im in Victoria so I’ve got no chance in watching them live.
I figured you just stuck to your lane, it’s why I found it intriguing I know I most certainly don’t
.Unfortunately it seems like every player you have big wraps on we seem to lose, so in some weird way it’s like you’re rubbing it in our noses but obviously you aren’t.
On a side note, how did Piakura go yesterday? Was he a bit better, more comfortable? I think you wrote last time he seemed a bit unsure and not his usual self.
