Wallace has been much improved this year. He is having a visible impact due to his size. He has taken a long time to get here but finally paying dividends. Just needs his defence/discipline to improve. A lot of his penalties are deserved although not all.

The team will be after a big performance with inspirational captain Corey Parker to chalk up a massive milestone.
Parker’s 330[SUP]th[/SUP] match will equal the highest number of games played by a forward in the history of the competition.
It will put him just 25 matches – or about one season’s worth of games – short of the all-time record of 355.
That mark is held by Parker’s former teammate and Bronco legend Darren Lockyer.

No Luke Patten in the bunker for our game, rejoice!

I am only one that thinks Reed has been VERY average in the games he has played this year, in both defence and attack?

I think if he puts in another performance like he did last week, he needs to be dropped, with Kahu placed in the centres.

I'm a big fan of Reed but yes he has been average. I don't know if we should start dropping people though. We are winning games.

Reed hasn't been his best, but I think he's still playing injured. He often favours his shoulder and doesn't hit well with it.

I am not saying drop someone if they have one bad game, but Reed has been not great all season and I am a big believer in having the best player we can in each position. Reed is the weak link in our team at the moment and I just don't think he is the best option we have at left centre, Kahu is.

Well then he needs time out to get better. His best asset is his defence, so if he can't do that to the standard required, he shouldn't be playing IMO.

He has only had a few games. Rehab from shoulder surgery and then the detached retina. Just needs time out there to find some form. He'll come good.

You are probably right. I just don't rate him as much as some people do, even at his best, I still don't think he is a match for Kahu in the position.

Kahu has been just as average this year too.

It seems like the left centre position is cursed.

In half the games played, the Broncos have had to make a reshuffle at some point since either Reed or Kahu have gone down.

At this stage, it's Jack's position. He hasn't done anything to lose it and Kahu hasn't done enough to take it away from him.

I expect a big performance from Jack this weekend. Don't be surprised to see him score a double, if not a hat-trick of tries.

I don't share that view at all and even if that was true at least he has a higher ceiling than Reed.

Kahu has obviously been playing injured but his lack of effort when making hit ups and kick returns are what makes me think he's been average. He basically walks into the defense.

If the comparison is Reed then he runs into the defense line Usain Bolt, I wouldn't be even remotely surprised if Reed makes a line-break this weekend and gets chased down by Sam Mataro coming from the other side of the field, it's actually unreal how slow he is for an outside back.

It's his only downfall as a player, he's above average defensively (Would be elite if he had 2 good shoulders and a bit more speed), has great game instincts and knows how to get his winger in for a try.. It's really only his continuous injuries and abysmal speed that's stopping him from being an upper echelon centre.
