That's your takeaway? You call me a condescending fuckwit but that's cool(some truth in that he he) but get butthurt by a bit coming back at you. Muuuummmmm, he called me a coward!!!!
No I was just asking how it made me a coward?

Gee, maybe like Oates he thought two massive frontrowers with a firm grip should be enough? Seeing as neither of us were there we should just forget about the abysmal example you showed. It wasn't evidence of anything. He doesn’t need to risk being out of the defensive line, all he has to do is wrap his legs up until lodge and haas get him to the ground then he has all the time in the world to get back onside

I consider it weakness when a person cannot bring themselves to simply type, I was wrong. It's cowardly but hey, whatever if it makes you feel justified. No I was just asking how it made me a coward?

So I went and watched the bit just to see if you maybe had a point and surprise, nope. Haas and Lodge had a firm grip AND the ref had already called held so Flegler would simply have conceded a penalty had he did as you suggested. The play was stopped, the attacker safely held and he didn't slip a pass.So what about this photo

He was literally right there with his hands on Jake and didn’t finish it off.
Also, as I said, I no longer think this is a problem with Flegler in particular but I was merely providing the photos to show how I originally came to that conclusion
I withdraw my remark, I apologize. I was being two kinds of jerk. A kneejerker and a jerk.Simply type? I’m not trying to inflame the situation but I don’t understand what you mean.
And hows taylor gone since moving...except for his bank accountAlso the longer we keep Dearden out of the 17, the more he'll have thoughts of the other offers from teams.
This reminds me of when we lost Ash Taylor who was behind Milf and Hunt. Hope this doesn't happen the second time around.

One final thing on this isolated moment. Flegler put his right arm on as third man in but clearly saw the attacker was safely held but more than that he like Oates made absolutely certain there would be no off load. Both Oates and Flegs kept their eyes intently locked on the wrestle and didn't leave to get back onside until certain the play had died. I think you inadvertently highlighted a great example of exactly what to do if you're third or fourth man in. Well done Flegs I say, just what a coach would want. Watch it again paying attention to Fleglers actions but try to imagine what his thought process is at the time.It was evidence of him being there to finish off the tackle but not doing it.

I can see that but that kind of decision is made dozens of times every game but what it isn't evidence of is a failure to do the little things, of laziness. It was simply a decision, do I need to get involved or not? In my opinion he correctly summed it up, Haas and Lodge had him locked up and after being certain that was so he raced back to get onside. Even you can see from the replay he correctly sized up the situation before departing the scene. If you can't after watching the slomo we'll just have to be in disagreementYeah I can understand his thought process but his involvement could have made Lodge and Haas’ jobs easier by allowing them to have more control to work him on to his back.
No, no you wouldn't. Only someone with rocks in their head would think a fresh set of six is preferable to two or three post contact metres. One things for sure, I would rather a player give away a 6 again because they've come in late to help their teammates dominate the tackle than for a player to stand there watching the opposition player drive towards our line.
There is so many examples over the last month of players being spectators in the defensive line 'assuming' the guys already in the tackle had it covered. It's such a lazy mentality to have. Nobody doing the 1%ers anymore.

Err, what's that scenario got to do with Flegler in the middle of the field and secondly you weren't specifically describing a guy 5 metres out! So ya genius it might help if you give us a hint when posting, you know a bit of a clue as to what's going on in your melon or what you're picturing in your mind.Depends on the situation obviously ya genius. If they're 5 metres out from the try line about to score I think I'd rather a repeat set than a try. That's not some arbitrary scenario either, it's happened multiple times to us over the last month, one or two of our players standing in the defensive line assuming that the tacklers have it covered, it's pure laziness.
