Round 7 Discussion

Bloody hell thought I was going to have a heart attack like my father did on the way home after the Titans got beaten a number of years ago.

Mind you this game has shown the Dragons up....on top because of a soft draw

So fuckin soft. Even the Knights have a much harder draw.

Knights play 6 of last years top 8 twice including the top 3 twice and the saints somehow play 4 of the top 8 twice but play teams 6 7 8 twice. This draw is just so fucking wrong.

Piss. Off.

Premierships, Origins, Test Series...what hasn't Morgan done?
Won a game which didn't involve Thurston playing at 7 and running the team.

He's just a bloke who has ridden on the coat tails of one of the greatest players of all time.

Until he succeeds without Thurston, he ain't shit.

Ps Asiata was better than him tonight...

Credit has to be given when credit is due. The Cowboys were brave tonight despite missing three quarters of their spine and their best forward. Take Hunt, Boyd, Macca, Kahu and Blair out of our side and we don't win a game or even come close. The Cowboys organisation is in good shape.

Well, he did throw the final pass for the winning try in a GF. I thought he played a better than Thurston the whole game.

The history books won't show that JT was actually pretty ordinary in that game.

What was Ben Hunt's final touch again?

Well, I think he's a pretty good player too. He has accomplished more than Milford and Hunt, that cannot be argued. Whether or not he could have gotten there without JT can be argued but never proven.

Winning try.

But it didn't win them the game....

The field goal that Morgan didn't kick did.

Wow, just fuckin wow.

That was a play for the ages, as much as it still shits me. Seconds to go and thrown the ball by an out of ideas Thurston he somehow comes up with that and you try and down play it.

I seriously don't know why so many ppl on here think he is shit. He is a very high quality NRL player who probably plays rep because of JT but he hasn't let any side down he is selected in.

Bit of an overreaction.

I'm saying it was not a winning try. Because it wasn't. A play for the ages, but not a winning try.

A winning try means it won the game for the team. It didn't. Because they still had to play on. So therefore, it can't be a winning try no matter which way you try to spin it.

In all honesty though, do you think Hannah Hollis is hot?
Not really, no... but that wasn't the point.

Anyway, let's leave this for a different thread, and get back to bagging the Cows in this one, shall we?

Morgan is not shit, but LOL at anyone thinking he's better than Milford or Hunt, much less both of them together.

If achievements on other players coattails count, then Justin O'Neill is much better than Justin Hodges. Try and defend that one...!

A lot of the fans will never forgive him for breaking our hearts and bagging him is how they deal with it. I get it though, every diehard fan deals with heartbreak in different ways. He is a great player though and the success that he has had can't be rubbished.

I didn't say it so I can't be spinning it but you surely are spinning it. Are you AP that's exactly the type of stuff he would argue

Okay.

Explain to me how it's a winning try despite the fact they still had to play on to determine a winner?

Are you taking the piss SF. You know what Captain Hook meant in his post.

You know it's serious when the AP comparisons come out.

Freaky is just a stickler for these type of situations. While he's technically right, we all know what CaptainHook meant.

Besides, I have a much bigger issue with Morgan > JT. While I agree with JT having a mixed evening, Morgan was invisible for the majority of the contest outside of that play at the death.

If we're making AP comparisons...

CaptainHook said:
And Morgan has already accomplished more in the game than Hunt and Milford combined ever will.

This is some quality bait right here.
