Gillett has been close to our best this season and Hodges is a world class Centre coming off a season ending Achilles injury. Drew is a Centre, not a Fullback, he's also unproven. Oates is a Backrower/Centre, not a winger and Hala isn't a starting NRL Prop.

Drew has played one first grade on the wing in which he was solid, but nothing else. Yet you want him at fullback?

Maranta has been great this year yet apparently no place in the team for him?

I agree with barba in the halves.

Hoffman is one of, if not the best winger we have but you don't want him there?

Gillett and Glenn have been great this year, especially gillett, but no go hey?

Hala? Fucking Hala can barely handle 5 minutes off the bench but he's starting is he?

McGuire is one of our best props but he's playing backrow is he? A position he hasn't played since u20s.

I thought he played a fair bit at FB. Broncos website has one of his positions as FB.

On form, I think he would make a terrific FB. Strong running, elusive. Of course, the questions remain about whether he can kick or not, or has a passing game.

But then what FB option do we have except Barba, who is in the wars footy wise and probably mentally, aside from a shitty game plan that makes him a sitting duck, aside from the fact that opposition teams know he is fragile at the back right now and bomb him mercilessly.

I'd rather him at 5/8 as I have argued before.

So, I think we could do worse than Copley at FB. However, I am sure there are posters who have (or haven't) seen him play there.

I would be putting maranta at fb before even thinking about putting Copley seeing fb is marantas main position. Copley is a great centre and that's where he should play

I take your point. At the same time, we said the same about Hodges

That's fine by me. Equally, I am pointing out that we are now 8th on the ladder, and soon unless there is a point to having an intelligent coach, and a change of attitude and form by some players, by next week, we will be 9th or 10th.

according to champion data barba has the most try saving tackles so far this season in the comp on 7. next best is 4. im not sure of the exact definition, but yeah

The sad thing is that the team has done it before, and done it well. Where is the consistency? That tactic gave me some hope about Hook
