POST GAME [Round 8, 2024] Broncos vs Wests Tigers

Left some tries out there and not our best but we seem to still pump teams even at that.
Mariner really needs to switch on sometimes a few missed opportunities for him and not being ready for a kick, we've seen it before this season. Seen the players interviewed early this year and apparently he's a bit of a space cadet.
Really disappointing for Jock last couple games he's been starting to show what he's got.
Haas looked even fitter and faster tonight than normal.
Willison again is something else.
Walshy as good as you are please drink some hydralytes before the game.

What was controversial about the reffing?

Just blatantly obvious game management going on from Atkins. He seemed obsessed with getting the Tigers over the line before HT (and just about did were it not for someone in the bunker reading the rulebook), missed an offside tackle then he slugged us with some ridiculous penalties in the second half like a "dangerous tackle" that wasn't anything close then penalized a head clash as "contact with the head".

Just absolutely clueless stuff.

our defence was exceptional. If Reece wasn’t on half a leg we would have kept a clean sheet - I don’t think Staines gets either of those tries.

However what they did hilight is why Oates isn’t an auto selection anymore: just too slow turning and running. Sad because he was excellent otherwise.

Time to give my mum nightmares of The Broncos 😂😂😂

It wasn’t a try, can’t lose control of the ball and expect to get the try.
I disagree. Rewatched it a few times and its a bazillionth of a second the ball bobbles in his hand in the air and he regathers and plants it.

Its insane to watch it at 100 fps and call any movement of the ball separation at those speeds.
I would flip a table if that was an overturned Bronco try.
