Souths werent just bad last week. They've been average all season

Poor guy isn't gonna live that one down, much like planes not flying in the rain.

It would be pretty funny if the crowd started a chant getting stuck into Inglis and egging him to take the shot at field goal..

Danger game.

Inglis always lifts against us and they will be looking to bounce back from their abysmal effort last night.

This one really could go either way.

Glad we don't have Hoffman at Full Back

Discontent with the coach? Any answer that is not slander I will accept

The rumours being reported by mainstream media say that the players are getting worn down by Maguire's hard-edged coaching. That and the Keary incident. It's hard to tell whether the coach really is going too hard and expecting too much, or the players just aren't willing to put in as much as they did before they won the premiership. Regardless, I like it.

Anyone else starting to see some parralels between Ricky and Madge - begin coaching careers with talented rosters, early success, start struggling a year or two down the track amid rumours of overtraining? Someone with a better memory can correct me - but wasn't Stuart accused of long road runs and pushing the roosters too hard?

On topic Roberts-Kahu combo to hopefully pick up where they left off this game... Although both times Roberts put Kahu away I expected him to go himself, especially the second try. What do you guys think the chances are that Bennet had a word in his ear after he didn't pass to Kahu in the Titans game? He obviously scored but I reckon Bennet would have preferred he take the percentage play and pass.

Long time lurker....

Rabbitohs have only beaten Knights, Roosters and Manly this season, The 1st quality team they came up against and they got obliterated. Broncos should win as long as we don't get complacent

Thats the thing isnt it. We can beat any team as long as we don't get complacent.

Why does every team we're about to play get absolutely smashed in the press in the week prior to the game?

They're heavily underperforming though. It's not as if they don't have the cattle to compete.

If Sam Burgess leads from the front, the rest of their pack will likely put in an improved performance. Throw in Reynolds kicking game and they are capable of putting us under pressure.

The saving grace is that Inglis looks well underdone, which goes a long way to our cause. That and McInnes doesn't seem to be guiding their attack very well.

I like our chances but they may well push us for much of the contest.

Because they are coming off losses and looking completely inept.
Clearly, I was just wondering about a pattern beyond that. I mean even NQ had a shit game in the weeks before us, against Parra.

Welcome. Your username is amazing.

On Friday night, Parker will officially break the record for the most games played by a forward.

It's quite a milestone.

Let's hope this time he can celebrate it with a win.. We all know what happened against the Rabbitohs on Parker's 300th game..

THE table-topping Broncos are fresh from a 53-0 thumping of Newcastle and are full of confidence heading into Friday night’s clash against the Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium.

Brisbane’s only real injury concern is backrower Alex Glenn who copped a nasty knee to the hip agasint the Knights.
If Glenn isn’t fit to face Souths, 110kg hulk Herman Ese’ese is set to take his place.

Ese’ese joined the Broncos from the Bulldogs this season and has been impressive for feeder club Souths Logan in the Intrust Super Cup.

Broncos prop Adam Blair is confident that Ese’ese is ready to face the Rabbitohs should Glenn not recover in time.
“He’s ready to go out there and do his job,’’ Blair said.

“He’s a quiet kid but he shows his aggression on the field, you saw it today when he got into a battle with Josh McGuire.

“Fingers crossed Alex gets through and is available, but if not I’m sure somebody will step up. “It’s all about confidence as a group around there, which is something we have. We’ve just got to go out and make the most of it.”

The Brisbane pack will be looking to step up against a Rabbitohs side that is desperate to bounce back after being thrashed by the Cowboys in Townsville last weekend.
