From a judiciary perspective, I hope we fight Joe O's charge. If Matulino can get off, he should be sweet.

Blair will likely miss a week or two for his shot on Reynolds.

Carter should surely get a few weeks. If they're cracking down on contact with refs, surely they can do the same with tripping? Feels like there's been at least two each week of late.

And it's another instance where we got no benefit from the penalty offence, but the Tigers will benefit next week.

Also, we just knocked Souths out of the 8 on F/A!

We all defended hodges smashing borris while he lay there prone with a busted knee in origin a few years back... I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with burgesses challenge on Ofa in isolation, however he was being a fucking **** sucker all night and had just been warned for unnecessary contact. I usually stay quite impartial on the Jack Reed debate.

But....

Tonight he was dreadful.

- Inglis is fucking terrible. I don't even want him in a Maroons jersey.
- Based on the reaction on twitter, anyone would think we take the two for 80 minutes every week. How many times have we done it after the 1st ten minutes?
- 2014 Rabbitohs were back in the first half. By that I mean they laid all over us, markers stood beside each other and the refs missed blatant forward passes.
- Reed was bad but Oates needed to stand deeper on a few occasions.
- Swinging arms are actually illegal no matter where they hit.
- Another missed trip against us.
- The stream I watch it on usually has channel 9 commentators. Some ridiculous statements from Gus and Rabs tonight.
- Jarrod Wallace was a monster.
- Burgess should have been sent off. He was walking a fine line numerous times before he was warned.
- Oates is a magician.

The most frustrating thing about reed is how high his ceiling is, and how low his floor is... He had an opportunity to have a blinder tonight with the amount of ball he was given and he fucking spudded it... His good games are really good, but he doesn't get there often enough...

Cheap shot, but even the penalty is questionable. He's entitled to make the tackle, and it's not like he put a swinging arm on his chin.

Didn't see anything binnable from Burgess really. He was channelling his inner Josh Reynolds but nothing that far out of line. Second half was pretty rough stuff from both sides. We dished out our fair share.

Carter should have been sent for his trip though.

The most fired up I've been at a game in a long time. So glad we gave souths everything they deserved and more. Brilliant to see our lesser lights stand up and take it to the grubs. The constant lying down for penalties showed exactly where the Bunnies are at.
