COMPLETE [Round 9, 2023] Broncos vs Rabbitohs

They are man handling us too much and we need to start looking for more offloads as well. Rabbits love structure footy in attack and defence, so move the ball more.

Comfortably outplayed them and should have put on some more points. Some very favourable piggy backs for Souths and a gift of possession for that last try.
Madden showed up a little on that one.

Get Hetherington on quickly in this second half and start moving the ball around.

I wouldn’t be picking walsh for origin on his current form.
Ponga has been attrocious but I think Hammer has been arguably a bit better overall. Walsh has Superstar potential but I feel like he's 50 games from becoming truly elite level. He has all the right attributes, just needs to mature and get some game experience.

Our second half’s have been good this season but it will take a huge effort to win this.

Missing Haas hurts, he really holds the middle well.

Oates as a second forward is missing too although I don't think he scores the try Arthars did so there is that.

All in all outside of a few bad misses in defence I feel like if we grind the second half instead of a stop start game, we can wear them down and win.

I dont think we have missed him as much as i was expecting. We obviously miss him, but we are playing well enough without all our missing players to be winning this.
