POST GAME [Round 9, 2026] - Broncos vs Roosters

Our goal line defence, or ability to turn away repeat tackles in red zone is statistically the best in the league by some distance someone was reporting last week, so our tackling is objectively not 'bad'...

An overcorrection after last week 😂
I didnt watch the game, but a grade 2 high tackle usually means it's bad enough to be binned ... they must've forgot to put it in the stats, because surely old mate Adam Gee didnt miss something in the bunker to favour rorters yet again.

At this point Adam Gee reffing a rorters game should be in the tip sheets

Hey guys, we have it here 1st. The PREMIERS are shit at tackling. We are all just paranoid, despite the stats and objective data provided and severe lack of objective rebuttal. Add to this opposition fans also stating the same, we are the paranoid ones. Great argument. Trump-esque some would say.

Whoa !
Did I ever say can`t tackle ? NO .

That`s making shit up to try and be a bully .

Ineffective is the word I used . As in not putting the ball runner on the ground (preferably on his back ) , making tackles but not dominating those tackles . Then flopping , not rolling away , not gettng back 10 , hands on the ball etc .
That`s why they penalised more . And the chief culprit is ?

What amazes me is Adam Reynolds is probably the best tackler in the team . And against men twice his size . He very often dominates tackles on back rowers .

Last night the 3rd man in the tackle put in the effort to put the ball runner on the ground more often and actually slowed the PTB more regularly . And did you happen to notice there were less 6 agains ?

Last week 3 men in the tackle but none low and the Roosters marched the length most sets . And 6 again fest ....
