If Lodge is out need to give Offa a chance to sink or swim I would suggest. No way Sims gets dropped after a good game if can’t get dropped after a lot of bad ones. Leaves us light up front no McGuire or Lodge can’t keep carrying Thaiday and Sims essentially leaves TPJ as only NRL quality starting forward in run on side but won’t change.

I think he has more to worry about from the spear tackle TBH

Did Moose get charged? I'd be very surprised if he did, the tackle went past the horizontal but there was no intent and the player landed safely. Not put on report, seems like a penalty would suffice.

I hope Haas gets another bench spot, Feel like Wayne wont have him in though, his bench impact was so good forced a line dropout and lots of tackles

Moose has a possible Achilles injury.

Moose has a possible Achilles injury.

Yep, when that word was mentioned, I started thinking...hmm this could well be worse than it first looked. Hopefully it isn't as bad as that and not season ending.

Kahu looking at returning for this game.

But he is very unlikely to recover in time.

I would like to see Murphy get a run in the 9, and Niko play the same role as last night..
Can't hurt to try, can it..?

But he is very unlikely to recover in time.

Obviously he makes his way back in to the team, but.. where?

Isaako has been safe under the high ball and we need his goal kicking, (Which I think is more reliable than Kahu's, based on what I've watched) & kick-offs.

Do we drop Opacic and moves Isaako to left centre? I really don't want Kahu back in the centres, he can't stay healthy there and he isn't good enough defensively.

Kahu must have lost some conditioning in this 6 weeks. With you @Unbreakable re Kahu but think Wayne will prefer to leave Isaako on the wing and get Oppa to make way. This would be a shame as he was more than solid last night. I'm just chuffed that Haas has extinguished my Kennedy and Tronc demons after 20 mins.

I’m with you.
Call me old fashioned, but I didn’t think there was a lot in it.
Penalty, sure. But I don’t think any player should be suspended for that.
But to play devils advocate, I suppose they’re trying to rub that style of tackle out completely - which I can understand.
So long as it’s been a suspension every other time and remains to be, then I guess we’d have to accept it.

https://www.broncos.com.au/news/2018/04/27/mcguire-to-see-ankle-specialist/

JOSH McGuire has had scans on his injured ankle today and the news is mixed for the international forward.
The scans have revealed that while McGuire has a torn anterior ligament in his ankle, there is no damage to the Achilles' tendon in the same area that he had previously ruptured.
While McGuire is certainly out of football for at least the near future, medical staff could not put an exact time frame on it until he sees a specialist.
"We think it is unlikely he will need surgery but he will see a specialist next week to make sure," said Broncos' High Performance Manager Jeremy Hickmans.
"At this stage we don't have a time scale for a return to the playing field until he sees that specialist.
"The good news around the scans was that while there was some query about his previously-injured Achilles' tendon, there looks to be no concern there."
McGuire started last night's 24-20 win over the Rabbitohs at hooker in place of Andrew McCullough, who suffered an elbow injury the previous week.
The Broncos will now need to find another starting hooker for the match against the Bulldogs at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday.
