Fudge it, I'm willing to give it another go. One bounce of the ball / one different ref call and we just beat one of the best teams after being 14-0 down. The importance of that, regardless of the result, suggests we persevere.

01 Barba (Hodges attack)
02 Vidot "Mr Leg Drive"
03 Reed
04 Copley (was really quiet against the Rabbits)
05 Hoffman (suck it up)
06 Hodges (Barba attack)
07 Hunt
08 Hannant
09 McCullough
10 McGuire
11 Glenn
12 Parker
13 Gillett

14 Granville (I'm scared with how he defends but he's worth the short stint in attack)
15 Thaiday
16 Kennedy
17 Oates

I don't know the rule on spoilers here but they were made to look better than they played, thats for sure.

It's basically got everything to do with the Eels. The way they're playing, with no structure, is Warriors-like. So if the passes stick, the Eels play like they did against us. If they don't, they play like they did tonight.

Spoilers only apply to Channel 9 delayed games, so pretty much the second Friday night game and the Sunday game, once the game is actually over on TV (6PM Sunday, 11ish Friday) then it's fair game.

I'd pretty much run with Unbreakable's team, but I believe we'll see something closer to this...

1. Barba
2. Vidot
3. Reed
4. Hodges
5. Copley
6. Hoffman
7. Hunt

8. McGuire
9. McCullough
10. Parker
11. Glenn
12. Thaiday
13. Gillett

14. Kennedy
15. Lowrie
16. Wallace
17. Oates

I'm not so sure about that... Lowrie hasn't been in the team for the last 2 weeks, and as far as I know he isn't injured. Most likely Granville will be there for Lowrie.

He played for Norths Devils last week. Not sure about this week.

I would keep Granville in the team. He gave us a little bit of spark out of dummy half in the past couple of weeks.

I've changed my mind on Kennedy. He can go back to QLD Cup for a couple of weeks.

When Broncos are in the opposition 30, Barba moves to 5/8, Hodges moves to fullback and Hoffman moves to centre.

Golly, all these in-game positional switcharoos... And apart apart from Kahu, we have been pretty fortunate injury-wise. Rather telling of our confused situation ATM.

I so agree with this. We need settled, stable combinations.

v Knights, I thought we were getting it right even with Hoggman. At least the team is coached around him and Barba showed he was comfortable doing his thing which was not the case v Bunnies where we were all over the shop.

Against the Cows, we need to shut down Thurston's support runners as much as him, and get our forwards to pass the ball.

What are we doing playing the cowboys for the second time before rd 10! Really ordinary draw this season.

i hate players swapping positions mid game etc.

i think we can win this. and i hope so as i'll be up there for the game.

1. Barba
2. Vidot
3. Reed

That's where you lost me.

If Kahu is fit, he should be in the centers. I'd also bring in Hala for Kennedy.

Also, am not opposed for recalling Lowrie, I'd have him start the game though and play the entire 80 minutes if he's up to it.

I'd play Gillett in the 6, except he defends at Lock and attacks at right wing, when he's attacking bring Barba in to the 6 and Hoffman goes back to the 1, although Hoffman might have to defend on the wing and in the centres, because Copley is defending at prop.

But seriously, can we just pick players in their proper positions?

I think that is just to complicated, lets find a five-eight and play him at five-eight.
