I think Newcastle are going to find it hard to win in Canberra without Mullen.

Didn't know Mullen was out.

But Raiders are hot and cold, you never know what team will show up.

Some pretty tough games to tip this week IMO. We will find out if the Dogs are back. Playing the Warriors in NZ is always tough. The Roosters could really prove their premiership worth with a win at Brookie on Monday night as well.

Rabbitohs vs Cowboys

Anyone watching this game? This has to be one of the most frustrating games i've watched in a long while. IDK if its just my hate of souths that's clouding my vision or my judgement but **** me there has been some absolute ratshit calls in this game, while I think Wintersteins first try was fair I can cop them not overruling the refs decision the call on it but the calls for Tate's try and GI's try were absolutely fucking ridiculous. I distinctly remember Sterlo commenting on a possible try to Jack Reed earlier in the year talking about how it's not good enough to just have downward pressure this year and yet come this week GI clearly has absolutely no control over the ball and knocks it on and its called a try.

It's funny how the good teams benefit off the bad calls.

Cowboys are seriously one stupid team. We're critical of Hook and his game-plans but gee isn't Henry doing a terrible job with the Cowboys talent? Two of the best prop forwards in the game, one of the game's greatest halves and yet they struggle to score points.

Yep exactly, I'd have to imagine there couldn't be anything more frustrating than being a Cowboys supporter. With all the talent they have on their books they could be world beaters yet at this stage they're struggling to stay in the, then add to that the performance of the refs in this game and the final last year against Manly and I have no idea how you could stay sane as a supporter.

I didn't think the refs. were especially bad against them tonight. 50/50s mostly went Souths way from what I could tell but it wasn't as bad as the Manly game. Mind you, I wasn't watching too closely so I may have missed a few crucial ones.

Souths are class at the moment. Didn't even play that well, yet once again easily accounted for the Cows. Burgess bros are killing it and the rest of the side is following their lead.

Better side one but Souths did get all the calls. Cowboys forward pack just isn't working. They are missing Aaron Payne big time.

Controversial decisions aside I think Souths were the better team and still would've won the game.

But I don't even know if the Rabbitohs scored a legit try all game except for the final Inglis try.

Which means their next loss isn't too far away.

I am happy with the win. An average opening 20 but a pretty good 60 mins to finish it. I thought calls were pretty even in the end.

Very strong performance and another win to Souths there were some ordinary calls but it wouldn't have changed the result anyway. The Cowboys are an extremely frustrating team, with the roster they've got you would expect them to be top 4 contenders yet as Pete said they are struggling to score points. What more can you say about GI you need more than a truckload of dynamite to knock this tower down.

They have 4 plays to score points. Overlap left for winger to score, bomb left for winger to score, overlap right for winger to score and bomb right for winger to score. If you can defuse that, they don't really have much else.
