Very inexperienced bench, I'm a little worried.

I highly doubt this is the panthers team they'll field. . I'm expecting their halves to be both included late.

Trying to get us under prepared. .

Agreed, I don't believe their team for a second. I reckon Whare, Taylor, Seggs and one or both of Wallace and Soward will be late inclusions. Oh and Moylan will not play if the reports of fracture/dislocations in his hand are true. I really don't know how the pathers could expect us to believe they have an unchanged line-up when there will have been 2 weeks for players to continue to recover from injuries.

Anyway, I hope Bennett isn't rushing back Glenn.

I'm not that surprised of Copley being dropped. He has been pushing it.. He hasn't been that good this year.

Yeah I'm not completely against the Copley dropping honestly, he hasn't been too good this year in limited opportunities. I think a couple of games in QCUP where he plays 80 minutes in the centres will be massive for his confidence and timing.

Reed is still there because he had a decent game against the Eels. I'm sure that is literally the only reason. Copley on the other hand was missing in attack and was poor in defence.

well apparently Reed wasn't just in the side because of backline injuries (as we were all assuming).

what will be interesting is if Reed still survives if Boyd returns this week

He is not dropping all poorly performing players though ... Jack Reed is still in the fucking side ... 1 half decent game for the year should not have been enough to save him

and Copley did well defensively against the Rooster ... in cat for the most part (except the Eels game) Copley has been better both in defence and attack than Jack Reed.

Yeah I don't think we should be arguing that Reed deserves to be in the side at all, he's been extremely standard for the most part. Copley hasn't been any better though, and he'd benefit from the axing a lot better than Reed would, it should put a rocket up him.

I didn't expect Glenn back and I'll be surprised if he does play. I think it's a smokescreen so Boyd can decide if he feels ready without media speculation. Oates will play second row and Boyd will push Kahu to wing. Or if Boyd isn't ready, Copley comes in.

Let me preface this post by saying that I would be surprised if this is the final 17 for the Broncos. I believe late changes will be made so I'm not going to get too emotionally involved in this situation.

I can't agree at all with Copley's axing.

While I don't think it's worth chucking a fit over like a ton of people are doing on social media, Copley is the better player moving forward and should only get better the longer he plays with Milford.

To give Reed some credit, I thought he played very well against the Eels and really silenced a lot of critics especially with his efforts down the right edge. Unfortunately for Jack, his days are numbered and Bennett should be making the best moves moving forward.

That isn't even the worst selection.

Molo on the bench is an absolute head-scratcher. He was given a shot in Round 8 and lasted all of 7 minutes before he was sucking so much wind that McCullough almost passed out due to depravation. His form in the ISC hasn't warranted another go and he should be made to put his head down and force his way back in.

Let's make something perfectly clear, this isn't all negative.

I believe Alex Glenn deserves a ton of praise for his efforts to get back on the field ahead of schedule. Clearly this is a player who loves his club and should be a Bronco for life. I believe we really missed him against Parra and his inclusion is HUGE and should make up for Thaiday's suspension.

Lets not get the truth in the way of a good childish bias rant hay Foordy. Stats show Copely missing more tackles and gain less metres then reed in the overall according to NRL.com Last game Copley missed 4 tackles, completely did not compete for a high ball and ended up getting a repeat set for eels, if Reed/Maranta or any other player of low regard around here pulled that shit all would say put him back to qcup. Reed has been fairly solid all year and I am not a Reed fan at all but I don't stand around with my head so far up my arse I don't see that Copely fucked up and disserved a kick in the arse.
