Sandows signs with Eels, $550,000 a year

Big deal? They signed Chris Walker and Carl Webb. All is well in Parra.

Don't forget Paul Whatuira. He won premeirships in 2003 and 2005, so he's a good signing

I'm not sure any of this matters. As long as Hayne stay's at the club they Eels don't need to bother signing anyone good.

Anything over 200k for Sandow is a joke. Thankfully he won't be coming to Brisbane!

Actually in all seriousness a lot of what I've heard is that as long as Hayne stays at the club the Eels don't have a chance of signing anyone good - cause a lot of the top guys just don't want to play with him.

According to Triple M in Sydney, Sandow is the 4th best paid player in the NRL (600K), ahead of Thurston (yes you read it correctly) and Cam Smith. Only Slater, Inglis (both 650K) and Locky (at 700K [icon_ee ), supposedly earn more...

The media speak so much rubbish, Sandow is being overpaid but nowhere near the extent that is being reported. It could end up being a good buy for Parra if Sandow lives up to his potential.

So maybe NSW would perform better if they drop him?

I think it's a given NSW would perform better without him whether the other guys want to play alongside him or not.

Just in the CM article today on Sandow, can someone explain this.

But the little playmaker, who says the move is all about security for his three children, Stephen, 4, Amahni, five months, and Naiyah, three weeks, insists he wants to leave Redfern on a high.

How does he have two kids 4 months apart??

He lives in Redfern. Clearly they all have different mothers.
I wonder if the baby bonus is counted in the salary cap.

Amahni? Just spell it Armani, you douche.

Far out, why does he need to chase big money with all those baby bonuses?

Kids with.different women I would imagine

That would mean his first(or 10th) would have been 4 months pregnant when he got another women pregnant. He doesn't waste any time :P

Or as Rocky says, perhaps he went for adoption while his girlfriend/wife was halfway through pregnancy.

Life in the mission at Redfern is grand.
