Sharks v Manly *SPOILERS*

I am a huge Sharks fan and I go on the Sharks forum and all people on there including me are all so angry at the refs for that bloomin shocking Luke Douglas send off. He is not a dirty player at all, he is a very clean player, we all feel like killing the referee

Without question the most inept and blatantly biased refereeing I've witnesssed since Bill Harrigan deliberately robbed Brisbane. Before that the ref who penalised Brisbane 10 nil and rewarded the opposition with the title of THE PERFECT TEAM.
The penalty at the end of the game was just plainly wrong. No Sharks player interfered in any way. The Manly player lept forward giving the tacklers who were doing their level best to clear, no chance. I seldom feel as upset as I do this time, it reminds me of the robbery of the Gold Coasts great win a few years back when they played the whole game a man short....and then were cheated of the points over a very minor technicality.
The sendoff was bullshit and nothing else but the ref did not even bother to appear impartial, smiling openly and sharing jokes with the Manly team while barking angrily at the struggling Sharks...worst ref performance of the year.

I was driving during this game and listening on Grandstand, and they were absolutely livid with the performance of the referee all throughout the game. Then they interviewed Covell - as Gymp said he was absolutely livid.
Honestly, the standard of referees in our competition is the worst in any sporting competition in the world. I've seen some shockers, particularly in soccer, but this has reached crisis point, and only 2 weeks out from the finals. It's an absolute disgrace.

Here is a replay of the Douglas sendoff with slow-mo and different angles, how the hell he got sent for this is beyond me. Robert Finch needs to be sacked and some changes need to be made.
