Sharks player hits a manly player high, got him flush, no Malice just careless. Ref sends him off..... totally undeserving of a send of, penalty and on report, maybe a week or 3 suspension. Covell was ropeable, tell the ref Watacow hit one of there players after he passed the ball and nothing. Fucking boils my blood when you can see a ref take side in a game.

Manly scored next play and are .... hang of Watacaw just scored ... anyway Rockys right ... a little. Refs have ruined this game.... so want a player to make an offical complaint on field that the game a farce.

Also Gallen ran into the ref and made contact... no doubt you'll hear more about that.

IMO it doesn't matter what the standing of the team is or there profile.. they walk out to play, the level of respect should be the same for both teams for the refs.

Luke Douglas is no thug, cannot believe he got sent off. On what your saying about the referees, a lot of people have thought for a long time the major nations have got favourable decisions in the World Cup of Football for years (Brazil and Italy mainly) as if the referees blow the whistle because it must have been "that way" because they aren't supposed to lose. May well be something similar referees just have it in their head who is supposed to win and it clouds their decision-making.

Yes, Refs have been appalling in this game. That send off was totally unjustifiable.

Lots of stuff they're missing too, incorrect PTBs and forward passes.

Absolutely disgraceful send off. Sure, it was careless and high - but there was absolutely no malice intended. Definitely not a send off offense.

I thought the reporting of Ian Donnelly was pretty harsh too. His shoulder made contact with Kite's head, sure, but I couldn't see anyway that it could have been avoided. Furthermore, it happens every single week and escapes punishment.

All we want is some clearly defined rules and some consistency.

Honestly, i don't think they even care about PTBs these days. They might blow for a mistake once a game in relation to the PTB, but there are so many that just go ignored.
