He doesn't have an NRL contract.
He hasn't done a pre-season.
He is unfit.
He won't play for Norths for a month.

That's 4 good reasons

Ipswich lose Joe Ofahengaue to Souths Logan

IPSWICH have again lost forward Joe Ofahengaue after the Broncos affiliate requested a move to Souths Logan in the Intrust Super Cup.
Ofahengaue, who missed Wayne Bennett’s final 17 for the Broncos’ NRL season opener on Thursday night at Cronulla, was expected to play for the Jets this Sunday.

But Ipswich co-coach Shane Walker has revealed Ofahengaue would instead wear Souths Logan’s colours.
It is the second time the Jets have lost Ofahengaue, after he was moved to the Magpies midway through last season.
The Ipswich junior was allocated to the Jets last month but asked to be moved this week, before the side’s Round 1 meeting with Tweed Heads.
Walker said the Jets did not want to stand in Ofahengaue’s way, with the youngster keen to win back his first grade spot.
“It was Joe’s decision,” Walker said. “We spoke with Wayne this week and Wayne told us of Joe’s desire to play alongside his Broncos teammates at Souths Logan.

“He’s very keen to get back into first grade. That was where his head was at and we want to see him play first grade too.’’
Souths Logan have a number of young Brisbane forwards, including Tevita Pangai Jnr, Herman Ese’ese, Jaydn Su’A, George Fai and Joe Boyce. Fai and Boyce have been named for Sunday’s game at Piggabeen.
Walker said the Jets were confident they would succeed without Ofahengaue, with Marion Seve now their only Broncos affiliate.
