I wanted to give a boquet to these three. In the last few weeks our success has largely been driven by the efforts of these blokes. Sims has been playing out of his skin, smashing the ball up and smothering oppositions' big men. It's like he has realised he's a giant and has started playing like one. Setu off the bench has noticably lifted the forwards with hard hits and powerful runs, but it's his offload that I've been most impressed with. And the old stager Carroll just comes on and does what he does best: a steadying influence, makes effective tackles and has been taking hit ups like a prop.

I'll add that McCullough has been pointing them around beautifully and he's a long term keeper.

Im sure Bernie Fartado will pass on the message

Setu is really starting to show some of the form he was in at the Dragons, and had people (including me) tipping an origin spot for him. i love his offload ability too.

All of the forwards have turned their form around and deserve credit (but I agree about these three). I think getting Sammy and Kenny back from injury has had a big impact as well.

Delighted to see Setu picking up some form, i'm a big fan of the way he plays.

LOL

I agree Setu is starting to play to his potential as is SIMS who has been pretty good all season but is now really hitting his straps hard. What did we really expect from Tunza he is a legend and is showing the young blokes what is doin.

Ever since Sims cut his hair off he's been killing them, even too the extent he let it grow back a little a few weeks back and he lost all his strength played crap, before cutting it again the week after and back to form..................a reverse Samson [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1.

Also ever since Sims and Setu got the word the club was considering shopping their contracts around they've turned it on - amazing what the right motivation can do for performance.

I agree, when I heard about our signing of Sims last season, I was really excited but tbh, I was dissapointed with his performance last season, but this season He has shown exactly why I made one of my favourite players this season. A great all round performance by him this season.

As for Setu, I was also really excited by this signing, I saw him play in a few matches for the Dragqueens and he impressed me. He has lifted all our forwards this season imo.

Looking forward to seeing a better Sims and Setu next season.

Now for Tunza, well, what more is their to say about him. All round one of the top blokes in league kindness wise and even better skill level wise. Overall A legend of the game. Sad that this is only a one off thing and he'll be gone next season again. You could see the intensity of the Broncos rise as soon as he came back on board. Marvellous what a legend of the club can do for the club on the field.

Apparently the Dogs want to sign Setu (and Clinton) from us.

No idea, just a rumour I heard from a few of their fans. Oh, and I think they also mentioned Sika Manu. Definitely suss.

But staying on topic, I'm happy with the way Setu played towards the end of the season. Hopefully we can keep him, because if we don't, our forward pack would start to look really poor.

I know I’m getting way ahead of the game here but you know what would be complete irony is if Simms scored the winning try against the Storm to put us in the GF. How good would that feel? On topic, I agree these 3 players have really turned theirs and our season around and good on them.

I would have no problem with this scenario
