I agree, these guys have all been fantastic. Tunza is worth it alone just for his experience, exactly what we needed in the engine room.

Sims and Setu, whilst most people here will disagree, are going to turn into 2 of the better signings we've made.

Exactly how many marquee players you reckon they have in their squad? Zilch

They are a squad of mid-tier (well at the start of 2009) players (Kimmorley, Ennis, Stagg, Hannant, Eastwood, Patten) and their young cheap guns have fired (Bryson Goodwin, Roberts, Idris). Without Sonny Bill, Willie Mason and the rest of their overpaid forwards, they would have LOTS and LOTS of salary cap.

They can afford some more middle tiers (Clinton, Setu) without breaking their cap.

I know I’m getting way ahead of the game here but you know what would be complete irony is if Simms scored the winning try against the Storm to put us in the GF. How good would that feel? On topic, I agree these 3 players have really turned theirs and our season around and good on them.

Have not been a Sims fan since that game. Would be a redeeming factor if that occured though icon_smile

Let's hope he knows how to get the ball down over the tryline (and doesn't take lessons from Ben Hannant [eusa_doh )

Quit sticking up for the Dogs ffs. If the Broncos were linked to every player on the market and were signing more players than they are losing the same accusations would be made.

Dogs / Broncos GF. Although I hold no fears whatsoever against the dogs - they always turn up against us. Rarely do they not turn up to play against us for some reason.

I'd rather than on the Eels - I'm serious. I know we'll get the Eels on GF day - if we play a 'WB' GF game plan style.
