SOO Teams 2010

Yup. and his only real problem is motivation...won't be a problem in origin. He brngs way more to the bench than Tronc or Kenny would.

Foordy pretty much has it nailed, but like it's been said, Taylor's form has been red-hot. If he keeps it up, he'll be wearing that delicious Maroon.

Taylor would, and should, be ahead of Kenny and Tronc.

Stagg shouldnt get near the side, if we want a tackle machine we should be looking at luck or lowe. Also bolton is a must. Along with thaiday he has been the form QLDer 2nd row.

01. Slater
02. Tuqiri
03. Inglis
04. Tonga
05. Folau
06. Lockyer
07. Thurston
08. Shillington
09. Smith
10. Civoniceva
11. Myles
12. Thaiday
13. Luck

14. Scott
15. Bolton
16. Harrison
17. Taylor

Only 1 recognised prop on the bench, but taylor and thaiday can alternate up front.

Will Falou & Thurston be available if they sign with Union?

I like that team but I reckon I would have Matt Scott starting over Shillington if both Price and Hannant are out.

Yeah, I like Queenslander's team as well. The only thing is, I reckon Boyd has done enough to keep his spot on the wing.

I'm not sure I understand why Harrison would be anywhere but starting somewhere in the back row. He's the perfect 80 minute player, and proved that in the 2008 and 2009 series. What exactly does he offer from the bench?? Someone like Costigan coming on would provide much better impact and would allow Harrison to be on the field for the full 80 minutes which IMO is a must.

Luck should only be in the side if there's an injury to one of our back rowers IMO.

I have harrison on the bench for his utility value. Also, we have just lost johnson, so we need a good tackling machine on the run on side. Luck is perfect for that. Once thaiday and myles tire, then bring on harrison to give us a bit more ball movement. Harrison has a few more skills than most backrowers, but to just use him as a tackling machine in the first 20 seems a waste. Let luck do that

I reckon Harrison is better served as an 80 minute player rather than a bench utility. He has proven very capable in this role over the past 2 series. Also, just because we have lost Johnson doesn't mean we need to automatically bring in another tackling machine. As good as Johnson was in our 4 series wins, he's very replaceable. Besides, Harrison can make 40 tackles in a match as well as providing good ball playing skills in the back row.

Harrison is the unsung hero of every team he plays in. He should and will be in the QLD team.

I wouldn't pick either of them if they were confirmed to be signing with yawnion.

yeah i agree with jeb, i would have harrison in 13 and stay on the entire match. hes right up there with the most underrated players in the league IMO, probably equal with priddis back in the day.

Yep, no doubt Harrison deserves to be in the starting side. He's a quiet achiever, but what he brings to any team he plays for can't be underestimated, nor can it be wasted on the bench.

Fair enough. So lets put harrison at lock to replace luck, who else would you put on the bench?

Costigan. Tough, runs hard and hits hard. Has come back into decent form recently so I would definitely have him there.
