PLAYER influence made a vivid mark on the day the go-button was formally pushed on an independent commission for rugby league, with drastic changes announced to the representative schedule for 2013.
Senior NRL club officials learned at a meeting in Sydney that all State of Origin games would be moved to Monday nights in 2013, with one played as a stand-alone match in that weekend.

City vs Country should have been scrapped years ago.

Not in the link, there will be a country round.

Teams will play in the country areas of NSW & QLD. (I think this is a great idea)

Good riddance to both. City Country is a waste of time and the Anzac Test is about as fun to watch as the Sharks playing the Raiders.
