State of Origin Changes Forever

Thats a bit harsh Pete........ have you a beef with Taumalolo?

I know you're big Pete.......but he's big Jason
tread carefully would be my advice

besides

it wouldn't be the first time a player generally out of sorts
didn't come on in an origin game and put in the game of their life for 15 mins.
I don't think his heart's in it. He had an opportunity to play for Queensland when he was younger and he picked New Zealand.

It would be a NSW esque selection.

I will forgive your indiscretion this one time because you're clearly cooked.

I think the term is "baked"

Nbc Noice GIF by Law & Order

Boarded at Nudgee from Year 8 and played for Norths. Was born in Qld anyway- left for NT when he was two.
So it was after he was 13 he played in QLD..union too.
He didn't play league straight away.
He did play both in the NT.

But yeah he2as born in QLD.

So anyway I suppose that's enough

Api Koroisau (touch and go)

Crazy the amount of carnage this year...nothing to do with six agains making the game too fast of course.

Kiwi.

If he was eligible for Origin, it'd be Queensland (Keebra Park alumni). However I think it's a Taumalolo/Ronaldo situation.

Thanks for the update. That would have been cool if he were Qld eligible, I reckon he's a bit like Hammer and you could probably put him anywhere in the backline.

So given probably more Broncos will go down between now and squad naming and other injuries will occur given the rate of attrition this season, this will probably massively change but as things stand, my Qld stab is:

1. Walsh
2. Sami
3. Toia
4. Hammer
5. Ponga
6. Munster (c) (he'll be there, he's captain)
7. Dearden
8. Tino
9. Grant
10. Gilbert
11. Finefeuiaki
12. Cotter
13. Carrigan

14. Plath
15. Collins
16. Flegler
17. Luki
18. Brimson
19. Mam

Oof

18 and 19 will be Broncos somehow. If Munster is named we lose.

It's sad but it doesn't make too much of a difference who is picked without knowing how it'll be reffed. If it's like some games (not all) on weekends, it'll be touch footy each way for periods of the game, and whichever team got the early jump will either hold on and weather the fightback, or they'll run away with it. Maybe we need a 42-38 SOO game for people to finally realise the damage being done to the actual game.

Both teams are going to have ridiculous outs though. Someone was reporting this morning that 11 of QLDs 17 from game 3 last year are injured/out of form (Munster).

Obviously NSW has more to choose form but they have a lot gone too:

1. Tedesco
2. Crichton
3. Mitchell
4. McLean
5. To'o
6. Moses
7. Cleary
8. Fonua-Blake
9. Koraisau
10. Ford
11. Young
12. Olakau'atu
13. Yeo

14. Brailey
15. Smith
16. Koloamatagi
17. Preston
18. Staggs
19. Edwards

1 Reece Walsh
2 Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow
3 Jaxon Purdue
4 Kalyn Ponga
5 Alofiana Khan-Pereira
6 Ezra Mam
7 Tanah Boyd
8 Thomas Flegler
9 Harry Grant (C)
10 Tino Fa'asuamaleaui
11 Kurt Capewell
12 Kulikefi Finefeuiaki
13 Pat Carrigan

14 Max Plath
15 Tom Gilbert
16 Cooper Bai
17 Kobe Hetherington

18 Dane Gagai
19 Lindsay Collins
