This series was always going to be the perfect storm of shite if you're a Queenslander.

Terrible coach, vastly inferior roster, Fifita missing in action as usual, Way too many errors, horrible defence on the edges particularly from Gagai and Coates which is the least surprising thing ever, Munster and Grant underdone and Mitchell and To'o are combining well.

We needed to score at least one more before that half ended, and Holmes bungled it. Hard to see a feasible road back for us from here unless NSW completely shit the bed.

Gagai and Holmes are beasts on the wing. We could have played both on the wing, put Brimson at fullback, find a couple of centers to just do a solid job as we have our X-factors out wide. We have to make the best of what we have. Capwell, despite his try, is a lot better playing in the back row. From the sound of it Fifita isnt doing great.

If your going to make passes like that you got to make sure the winger has space and the pass hits the mark and at the right speed, it was too high and slow. By the time the winger caught it he had nowhere to go.

Fifita in origin is a bench player, doesn’t have the work rate to start. You can’t fucking hide and cherry pick in origin.

If your going to make passes like that you got to make sure the winger has space and the pass hits the mark and at the right speed, it was too high and slow. By the time the winger caught it he had nowhere to go.

He had about three options to go to on the other side of the field earlier, panicked and chose none and just got tackled.

the best thing he’s done in origin was his mic drop last year after we had won the series
