State of Origin - Game 3 - Post Match Discussion

Thurston in the wheelchair in the sheds would have done more than Pearce on the field. I honestly don't know where our halves disappear too.

Stuart was 100% correct and for the final 20 minutes or so Pearce outplayed Thurston in everyway...
Yeah, I agree. That cutout pass to Boyd was the highlight of the game. Something for Thurston to learn from...:shady:

What on earth happened to Ennis? Saw him walking into the sheds and he looked ok, but then never came back onto the field..? Usually they'll tell you about players' injuries but I didn't hear a thing.

they mentioned it. Said he was coughing up blood. LOL. *ahem* I mean. Oh dear. hope he's ok....

Ah must have missed that, sounds nasty. Weird that they didn't bring it up again.

Only time he was mentioned again was as an apology for NSW being so ****************. In the last 5 minutes "It has to be remembered NSW has played 60+ minutes of this game with 16 men with Ennis out of the game".

Yeah, how good was that? Uh, I mean... Hope he'll be okay to be smashed again in the NRL.

Pearce was quiet but I can't fault Soward. He played his heart out.

True, they had an advantage for the last 60 minutes.

Yes and no. Our forwards didn't really create any space for our halves and QLD were not giving us any. Soward is our best option for 5/8 for the future and another year in the NRL to get ready for the next SOO series. I can remember he made a half break from nothing but got ankle tapped by Thaiday. If he scores or it leads to a try, we are only 8 down with 30 to go. Oh well, the usual "if only this happened instead of that".

Losing Ennis was huge. Gidley and Ennis in game 2 worked heaps well and we lost a fair bit in the middle without him returning.

That was awesome. That first 35 minutes was grind it out football. We didn't panic, our attack was structured it was perfect.

Mannah had 2 hit ups for 12m. Galloway had 3 for 16m. LOLZ

Scott and Civoniceva proved that the game isn't changing, that the 'genius' move of Ricky Stuart didn't revolutionise rugby league. They plowed through the middle and smacked them in defence. Lillyman, Parker and Hannant did a great job when they came on.

Mitchell Pearce proved how over rated he truly is. His defence was horrible he made 4 crucial errors there and in attack all he did was throw one pass in the 78th minute when we had started celebrating 10 minutes ago. If he is NSW best halfback option then they are in trouble for a few more years to come. Proper ****************ing myth!

Best game I've seen Thaiday play all year, he was brilliant. That deft bat back to Slater was sublime.

May or may not have got a bit teary eyed when D-Lock was up on stage, what a champion. If he went out any other way it would have been a travesty.

I could go on and on about the win, words don't do it justice.

Had to LOL and abuse the tv massively after the game though. Paul Gallen the simpleton 'a few refereeing decisions went against us,' what a ****************ing knob. Was that the horse **************** no try to Hannant or the 8 point try to Stayne? Or was it the time you guys knocked the ball on heaps and missed lots of tackles? Cop it on the chin dickhead the supremely better team won.

I rewatched the 8 point try & thought was a load of shyte that was.

Glad that I'm not the only one that has never rated Pearce. (I think they go on about him because of who his Dad is)

What an absolute hammering. NSW were never in the game, despite what the scoreline may indicate.

Good to see Gallen brining out the poor ref calls as an excuse at the earliest possible time though. For once, I'd just like a team not to use that as an excuse, and to be honest, I didn't think the refs were too bad at all anyway. Certainly didn't change the result of the game anyway.

Don't blame Gallen for whinging about the refs guys ..... look who his coach is

I haven't watched the replay yet - why was Hannant's try disallowed?
