yeah the Eels' issues run so much deeper than the coach .. Ray Price should be sent packing - he's an absolute knee-jerk moron, he's dressing room aids ...

Ricky Stuart is just a quick fix to save face ... He's proven to be totally unsuited to coaching an NRL team but apparently now he's the great white hope .. He doesn't have the temperament to take a group of players on an 11 month journey come out the other end successful .. You simply can't ride every emotion of every play of every game an expect that both you and your playing group won't be completely burnt out by July .. Stuart's personality is ideally suited to origin for the time being ..

While I agree to a point, he did take the Roosters to 3 successive Grand Finals. So he CAN do it. But I think it's dependent on the playing group. That group of Roosters had Fittler, Minichiello, Fitzgibbon etc. Strong, competitive players.

What's he got at the Eels? Jarryd Hayne? LOLZ. Talented player, no doubt, but all the competitive attitude and heart of a flu virus.

The Eels look a bit like the Sharks when he went to Cronulla, and he got them well up the ladder. Stuart is definitely the best choice of coach available for Parramatta. Whether the best coach available is enough to turn such an intrinsically terrible club around is another question.

I think Stuart will get them up the ladder but not by much. I think Parramatta will finish 11th or 12th next year, the rebuilding of the Eels will take some time.
