Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

At least the game is at Docklands with "normal" in-goals and not at Olympic Park.

Storm are very beatable.. I was more worried about tonights game tbh. Depends if Hunt and Wallace play of course.. but if they aim up in the forwards like they did tonight we can beat them.

Melbourne's pack is still pretty soft.. I wouldn't take much notice of the Manly game

Manly played that game like it was a regular round.. they had nothing in the forwards, no aggression in defence.

surely hunt has nothing to worry about with that "trip" he made contact with soward with his arm as well...

Can someone tell me why they think the Storm are "in form"? Seriously?

They've only won 3 in a row - 2 of those teams were shit house teams (Roosters and Warriors) and they beat a very poor and gunshy Manly team in week 1. Big deal. St George beat Parra in round 26 by 35 points and everyone was saying that Saints were back and will be hard to beat - and look what happened to them a week after. Beaten by Parra then we beat them.

Storm are really not much different - They've also had the week off which will stop a lot for their momentum.

And Etihad stadium won't worry us - half of our team has won Origin games on that turf!

Melbourne are beatable.
x2.
I'm still worried about V'sing Melbourne but this all this "in form team" rubbish is getting annoying. They beat 3 rubbish teams in a row, big deal. We have beat some very good teams for 7 wins in a row. Stop Inglis and Slater and a win shouldn't be out of reach.

F*** YEAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahh, wouldn't mind ripping every single one of those dirty heaps of shit a new arsehole. That includes their dirty fuc* wit of a coach.

Stop Inglis and Slater - easier said then done, but we do that and we got them all over the park IMO.

The only thing I don't want to happen is to resort to "two shifts out to Lockyer and pray for the best" but that is old news... we've come a loooooooooooooong way from doing that.

Whose going to play 7? Ben Hunt? Just go out there - run hard, tackle hard. The big names will bring the game home.

Go the Broncs~!

anyone but hunt to play 7. we need hunt as the third playmaker option from fullback to drift in and out.

Wow, so this is like the sixth year in a row that we've met the Storm at some time throughout the finals series! The only one we've won was the biggest of them all. This one will be the second biggest, let's hope we can replicate 2006.

We crushed a lot of our demons win our victory over the Dragons. They have been our bogey side for a long time. The boys will feel like they can do anything now.

As for Wallace, remember:
a) he could be Ok. Remember before last night - how Hodges "Was in Serious Doubt" etc. The media tries to make things more dramatic than they are.
b) We won the 2006 premiership with a stand-in halfback (perry) against Melbourne I might add. B Hunt will be a more than adequate replacement if needed.

Either way, it will be a cracking game.

Hope this is one of those games where Billy Slater self-destructs!
