I like our chances the longer I think about it, if we can get on top early it will be incredibly close.

I might be the only one, but I'd prefer us getting smashed than losing in the final stages of the match.

I'd actually prefer us to win. [icon_wink

Oh God the nerves, the nerves! i'm already getting butterflys in my stomach

Can't see us winning tbh.. Melbourne have had the wood on us for years now and I can see it continuing.. and it's fucking frustrating.

Tunza starting at half, Glenn on bench

Brisbane Broncos veteran Tonie Carroll will start at halfback in place of utility Alex Glenn for tonight's night's NRL preliminary final against Melbourne Storm at Etihad Stadium.

Carroll has been promoted to the starting side as the Broncos aim for another brutal opening to their final, with the winner to face Parramatta in next Sunday's grand final at ANZ Stadium.

Glenn had originally been selected to play halfback after NSW star Peter Wallace broke his ankle in Brisbane's win over minor premiers St George Illawarra last week.

Glenn will now start on the bench.

The Storm have dropped Wairangi Koopu off their five-man bench, with prop Scott Anderson returning from a hamstring injury.

IT'S GOING TO START SOON!
GO THE BRONCOS!!!

Darren Lockyer is going to be under immense pressure.

I hope McCullough has his kicking boots on.

They just showed 'that' moment on Nine when we lost the game last season.

That's all the inspiration the players need.

Aah, would have prefered Carroll defending next to Lockyer.

but the 9 should be crucified for reminding the rest of us about that moment. That was my most devastating moment as a Broncos supporter

Did you see Sims running at the tackling pads.... he's fired up!

I'm not really nervous about tonights game.

That's a worry for me :(

Glad to see Ivan took my suggestion of Carroll to 5/8 :)
But god damn we're going to have some trouble in attack [icon_razz1

I'm nervous as hell now... I couldn't stand the Storm knocking us out for the third year in a row.

LETS GO BRONCOS

I'm always the same with prelims for some reason. Kind of a relief if you get knocked out and don't have to face the prospect of losing a grand final (the only thing we Broncos fans are yet to experience), yet also extreme excitement if we make it to the big one with a chance of taking the title. Weird, but that's how i've always felt.
