Shiz like that will kill State of Origin. not picking a captain show's weakness. This game is all about leadership, and if they refuse to pick one, they truly have given up.

IMO the clear candidate is Hindy but he's not really long term is he. Blues have really put them selves in a corner IMO.

At the end of the day though I dont think captaincy matters for them right now, initially they should pick the best 17 and see who is the clear leader from there.

I tell you NSW Idol is the way to go. Or they could have NSW Survivor, with Wayne Pearce as the host, taking them through dangerous tasks each week. Horse riding in the Blue Mountains, ski jumping Sydney Ferries in the harbour, the one that survives gets to be captain.

I'll admit the NSW sides are looking stronger and stronger (naturally) --> if they pick the right people. If BM is not picked then I will never be able to take the NSW selectors seriously again...

He's an awesome finisher and will get the Blues some some points if they set him up nicely.
