I have no need to type my own because this is pretty much the same side I'd choose. Would likely have Inglis on the wing for Dell, but that's it. Even then, it's only really to squeeze him in.

The 1,6,7 and 9 are all the best I've seen in there respective positions. Could not bring myself to name Johns @ 7...

I was close to picking Johns but the criteria is live, every game I saw Johns in, Langer was in and pretty much Langer outplayed him every time, in fact I consider Ricky Stuart to have been the real nemesis for Langer ahead of Johns.

I consider that spine to be almost unbeatable with a perfect balance of playmaking, individual brilliance and team guidance.

Players I loved to watch for reasons given:

1. Billy Slater (could do all manner of good and ugly all in one game but brilliant overall)
2. Israel Folau (his aerial work is still missed in league)
3. Greg Inglis (the guy is a freak)
4. Junior Sau (massive unexplainable man love)
5. Willie Carne (has anyone ever knocked out more than this guy in a career)
6. Darren Lockyer (the best)
7. Jonathon Thurston (has their ever been a more big moment player?)
8. Shane Webcke (guy was an absolute nugget who belted guys twice his size)
9. Cam Smith ( best hooker of all time by a country mile)
10. Steve Price (jogged into defensive lines and just didn't seem to stop)
11. Gordon Tallis (loved his aggression and that rag doll moment)
12. SBW (cos every team needs someone everyone hates but for some reason doesn't admit it)
13. Ben Kennedy (just seemed to make every team he was part of grow an extra arm)

14. Jharal Yow Yeh (this guy could have been anything as we all know)
15. Martin Lang (In the Willie Carne mould)
16. Jarryd Hayne (the one NSWelshman who would make the QLD side easily)
17. Shaun Berrigan (the ultimate utility)

I took live to mean, players you've watched during your time following league. As in, someone like Beetson is too old school for me to recall much so, despite being someone I consider to be one of the greats, I can't name him.
