Let's look at Dugan for instance, his an absolute idiot at centre but very solid defensively at Fullback.

Birds never played fullback. Boyds the current Kangaroos incumbent. Not really much of a valid argument here for people with a bit of common sense. But then again, common sense doesn't stretch as far as it used to...

Birds never played fullback.

Bird played there at the start of the year and in the 20s.

He had his moments, both good and bad.

For next season? Boyd no doubt. After that I would be open to discussion but Boyd is 100% our best fullback as our current roster stands.

Bird is not great at fullback, and Boyd will be wasted on the wing.

This year Boyd has only scored 3 tries and only 8 try assists. Bird has 3 tries as well but has 7 try assists. So Boyd isn't doing so much with the ball of Bird is beating his stats at centre.

Don't trip GK, I've got you covered.

Poll has been added.
This is one thread that definitely doesn't need a poll though

If you have placed your vote why can't I see any other votes apart from boyd?

Voted for boyd. There isn't a better fb at brisbane imo. Kahu would be my 2nd choice but he's made of glass.

Boyd should be fullback for the remainder of his career, or at least until someone comes along that can be more beneficial for the side at the back both defensively and in attack.

Milford is staying at 5/8. He won't be moved. Attack wise, he would be great. Defensively? Not so much.

I would look at starting to blood Isaako and Allan. Allan seems to be the more promising of the two, so he will likely be the one that comes out on top.

When Boyd retires, or Allan overtakes him. He can be fullback.

Seriously though, I know who should be the fullback but I wouldn't be against chucking Jimmy Roberts or Isaako at fullback.

Boyd is only just in the top 50 players for try assists.

Common sense also tells you he's the incumbent due to injury. When everyone is fit and healthy, is he even second option at this stage?

Not a great argument.

Boyd should not be guaranteed FB for the next 2-3+ years. He should earn it.

Considering the fact he has missed a few games to injury that stat is seriously not supporting you
