Telstra retains Online and Naming Rights

Interesting.

I note also that Foxtel on XBox 360 has an upgraded sports package now which carries Fox Sports 1-3. It's more expensive ($30 a month on top of the starter $19.95) but includes all NRL games (including the 5 live games), plus heaps of other sports where they have the rights for internet broadcast.

And it's no contract.

iOS only?

Does the app allow you to watch every game live? Or some games?

Says 6 games live, 2 games delayed. iOS and Android. No Windows Phone.
Not that I'd want to watch a game on my phone although I could use AirPlay with my Apple TV to get it on the TV, saves a Foxtel subscription, that's for sure.

Is there a website that we can watch on? That would be amazing. Legal streaming, they may even make money off someone like me.
Lost me at 2 delayed games.
I'm assuming that's the CH 9 games.

I'm guessing it's the ch 9 games. For my situation only, I can't see the point of paying for delayed games. I already get that for free thanks to David Gyngell, you prick!

Well you're getting 6 live games, much cheaper than having to get Foxtel. I think it's brilliant as long as there's a computer version, none of this mobile phone shit.

if they release an ipad version, especially with airplay, im sold on the $89.99 annual pass.

if not, well ive got a jailbroken iphone, can jailbreak my ipad, and a jailbroken appletv.....im sure theres a way to get that app on my tv lol.

I'm getting an HDMI adapter for my Samsung. Will give it a crack connecting it to my TV, then I can watch it live on the TV through there. Winning!
I've also got a Telstra Bigpond mobile broadband plan so I can put that in so I don't pay data charges.

Double win.

I've bought the subscription for 1 month. Will see how it goes.

Foxtel Go App is free, and if you already have Foxtel. Bam. Free sport on the go.

And there's the clincher. Minimum spend if you want NRL is $60 per month.
$15 per month for the NRL app on the phone is a bit more cost effective for those who don't already have Foxtel ;-)

Yeah, we know you have a crappy Apple TV by now... :001_tt2:

NFL Game pass... That's awesomeness and how every competition should market their online viewing rights!

I do have it. Because unlike some head cases, it's worth every sent if it means I don't have to watch that BS on FTA.

But it isn't when you've got real life expenses like a mortgage and a family to take care of.
