He's got Medvedev next though. That will be a challenge.

If he can take down Medvedev than this Aus Open is up for grabs. Nadal is a next favourite, but I don’t think he’s been as good as he once was. He’s very bearable IMO.

No chance he beats Medvedev.

No chance he beats Medvedev.

I wouldn’t say no chance. He’s come up with some huge upsets in his career.

He’s beaten Nadal, Federer and Djokovic. I wouldn’t say never against Medvedev.

He would need to produce one of the best matches of his career to do so, but he’s shown he’s capable of producing such a game. It depends on which Kyrgios turns up.

Ash Barty with another easy win today beating Lucia Bronzetti 6-1, 6-1.

She will play Camilla Giorgi in the third round on Friday.

Two more Aussies up today.

Aleksandar Vukic will be taking on Radu Albot at 3:50 AEST.

And John Millman will be taking on Alexander Zverev at 7:15 AEST.

I don’t expect either of them to make it to the third round. Zverev will be too good for Millman.

Vukic might have a chance against Albot if he plays well, but Albot is the better player so I’m expecting him to win.

We got any decent non Aussie matches SF?

With the non-Aussie ones, Monfils and Bublik at 7:15 is the one I’ll be interested in. I think that should be a decent match, it should be a close one. Bublik beat Monfils the last time he played him. It will be a more interesting match than Zverev and Millman.

Hurkacz and Mannarino at 3:50 should be a decent one, as well. Mannarino is someone that’s quite capable of knocking off a top 10 player.

Vukic still has a chance if he can just fix those unforced errors and play a bit more aggressive. Albot is moving forward and putting the pressure on Vukic. That needs to change.

He’s doing well when he serves, but it’s the opposite when he isn’t.

That was a bad game from Vukic.

Up 40-0 but still ends up losing the game.

That’s Vukic done.

That was a frustrating second set. Went right down to the tiebreak and Vukic had his chances to take that set but he just isn’t able to finish it off.

Pedro Martínez vs Cristian Garín has been an entertaining match.

It’s neck and neck. First and second set both going down to the tiebreak with 1 set each.

As expected, both Millman and Vukic gone.

Tomorrow we’ll see Alex De Minaur take on Kamil Majchrzak at 1:30 AEST.

Then Nick Kyrgios will take on Daniil Medvedev at 6:00 AEST.

Kyrgios vs Medvedev should be a good match if he turns up to play. He’s played against Medvedev twice and beat him twice. Both times in 2019. Granted he wasn’t the World #2 but he was in the top 20. He’s a better player now, though. Kyrgios is quite capable of knocking off the world’s best when he’s switched on, so hopefully he’s switched on tomorrow night.

Chances are, he will probably win that. It’s more than likely the Government will settle, though.

I would like to know how he received ill treatment. If that were some random foreigner, they wouldn’t have got a lawyer and fought it so quickly. They wouldn’t have been transported to a hotel and would have been on the next flight home.

There are people that have been waiting for ages to fight their cancellation and are still waiting for their case to be heard.

Wow...who could have seen...a lawsuit...coming?

Never in a grand slam though.

Maddison Inglis is taking on Harley Baptiste and has just taken the first set after winning the tiebreak.

She’s doing well. Hopefully she keeps it up and we’ll have another Aussie through to the third round.

Christopher O’Connell is taking on 13th seed Diego Schwartzman and has won the first two sets and is currently leading in the third.

That’s going to be a massive upset.
