NEWS The dirt has begun

I tend to think his approach was just so different from what the playing group were used to that the messages never got through (I've long suspected that we aren't an overly smart bunch). He also effectively ripped the playing group apart and moved a lot of guys on. That probably hasn't been received well by the players.

I think the opposite, I think he got what he wanted and it was too much.
You may be right, but it does not explain why he never dropped Darbs throughout the whole time he was there. Conspiracy theories aside, I was perplexed at some of the things Darbs got away with and yet still never got dropped.

I believe that was his call, I don't think he wanted a senior player offside, I was told that it was the opposite to what is popular opinion- Seibold kept him in the team despite being advised he should go.

Do you think his methods were perhaps curtailed at all by our management?

It beggars belief that management would decide Wayne's not working, he's destroying the club and so forth, pick a radical new coach with a Harvard's endowment worth of new coaching philosophies and no ties to our playing group, then forbid him from dropping our highest profile poor performer. It's far more parsimonious to conclude Seibold was just out of his depth, struggling and piling on the poor decisions as the pressure weighed heavier upon him while the team burned and results evaporated.

was "parsimonious" on your word of the day calendar ... and you've been dying to use it somewhere 😛

The CM is piling on now. Can't quote anything directly, but here's a check list of turds they've dropped so far.

Seibold:

Sacked Boyd as captain.

McHunt

That was a bad thing???

How am I a troll? I’ve spoken a fact that a future immortal and absolute champion player will go down as one of the clubs worst board signings and no one can even acknowledge that. All you can do is tell me how Milford is apparently good and call me a troll
Posters by the truck load, in at least 6 different threads, have been sticking it to Lockyer for his work on the board.

I am merely a fan with a dream and I don’t have time to have read through each article on the site. You’ll have to forgive me for not being Einstein.

Locky sure isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Limitless footy talent, limited boardroom appeal one would think.
