I think the opposite, I think he got what he wanted and it was too much. He should have been on 'probation' and had support and check and balances around him.

I tend to think his approach was just so different from what the playing group were used to that the messages never got through (I've long suspected that we aren't an overly smart bunch). He also effectively ripped the playing group apart and moved a lot of guys on. That probably hasn't been received well by the players.

I believe that was his call, I don't think he wanted a senior player offside, I was told that it was the opposite to what is popular opinion- Seibold kept him in the team despite being advised he should go.

It's far more parsimonious to conclude Seibold was just out of his depth, struggling and piling on the poor decisions as the pressure weighed heavier upon him while the team burned and results evaporated.
